melbrod That he is....And he doesn't even need a twin to "help". He's enough all by himself.

So I went to a Obedience/Rally trial and in talking to a friend I ended up borrowing her puppy (at the moment she has an overabundance of dogs, people, chickens--some other livestock--maybe goats and ponies) so he's at an age where he keeps me very busy--don't have enough time to think about Toad (who remains the elephant in the living room and a lot of people won't even talk to me because their afraid they might say something about Toad and make me feel bad.

For the record--talking about my Toadie actually makes me feel better.

So very glad to see you back...

It's funny...people are the same when someone loses a person close to them. We're so uncomfortable with death and so afraid to say the wrong thing that we simply isolate people who have suffered a loss, and just make it that much worse.

I, for one, would love to hear more about Toad. Any stories you want to share would be lovely!

He was 28" at 6 months and only grew another 1/2" and then stopped (thank heavens). It was a summer show and they want me off this computer--he won the class but spent a lot of time either trying to jump on Michelle or play with the puppy behind him whose handler was cracking up.

At that age he looked very much like a yearling colt--all legs and a peanut body--and fawn--so he stood out.

Gotta' go

Classic parenthetical insertion, bug

WELL!!

Since you'd like to talk about Toad, how about a few of your favorite pictures ?? (I bet someone here could help post them somehow) Of course, I guess you never know where they might end up on the web (I swear people steal cute pictures of nice dogs....my picture of Kip in his bunny costume is floating around online; I still see it from time to time), so they'd have to be for public consumption and not...uh...lewd or something , but anyway....

Rich made me his famous frying pan meatloaf and potatoes (OMG it's good and I only get it once a year!), and instead of making myself a birthday cake (Rich doesn't bake), I decided to use some of my canned apples from last year and make an apple crisp. It was WAY better than chocolate cake, and for me to say that, really means the apple crisp was excellent! It's so simple to make, I don't know why I don't do it more often...

ECIN Hey Mel - Whos birthday is it ?

melbrod Here's all of your pics displayed in their (tiny) glory:

ECIN I know I didn't say anything wrong - But thought I would be nice

It was probably that PIA Di
12-06-2019 11:44 AM
melbrod Oh yes, I meant to say this too:

12-06-2019 11:39 AM
melbrod Well, I know it wasn't me that said anything nasty so I won't apologize--for myself. Those other guys here? Yeah, well......

Once you get your thumbnail up there, you can click on it and then copy the address code for that enlarged picture. Paste it here, wrap it with [img] [/img] tags and it should show up as a larger picture. Of course, like folks said, your pictures were kinda small to begin with.

HTML Code:
[img]https://www.dobermantalk.com/attachments/non-doberman-animal-talk/111907d1575641285-girls-outside-12-02-19-blizzard-04.jpg[/img]

But here's the cardinal thumbnail done the same way:

HTML Code:
[img]https://www.dobermantalk.com/attachments/non-doberman-animal-talk/111909d1575642100-girls-outside-019_8217.jpg[/img]

Of course, then you may end up with a picture that's too large. That's why a lot of us use Flickr or imgur to get a code that will display the picture in an appropriate size for this forum

Lannie, your originals are only 240x180 pixels, which, unless your using TN's Scooby Doo digital camera, is not a normal sized pic.

Lannie, welcome back! Glad you made it through the blizzard. Great to read your daily morning epilogues again. (BTW, your pics are real tiny...)

Don't let what your read on this crazy thread every get you down, we're all a little whacked just for staying with it for over 25.6K posts!

CT members enjoy teasing each other some with some back and forth banter.
If it was me that made you feel down with my sophmoric humor attempts, then I apologize...

...If not, then it must have been SP, she scares off lots of CT newbies!.....

Hey, I've got a sure fire cure for your evening blues on the couch....

Git You Another One of These....

Or Even One of These for SD Wx....

TNfisher Hmm mine showed up big size when I click it, yours were small pics (are the originals small size?) I clicked on "Manage Attachments" browsed to where the pic is on my HD, then clicked on upload. Then I clicked on "close this window" and clicked submit reply.

Here is a sticky thread tutorial on how to embed pics

And happy birthday

TNfisher Good morning and welcome back, Lannie

I usually link to an external site where I upload my pics to. I'm doing a test here to see what my attachment will look like
