triciakoontz Welcome!! Sooooo smart to take the time to research before you get a puppy. We’d love to see some sweet memories of Deoji and Kinya if you feel like sharing.

Hello, hello!

Hello to all! Another lurker turned member here. Former dobie mama hoping to add another one to our family next summer. The first dog I remember having as a child was a Doberman, and they've always had my heart. We got our boy, Deoji, in summer 2005, then added our girl, Kinya, later that winter (she was a rescue). They were a blast to have around and we miss them dearly. We lost Deoji to osteosarcoma in Nov 2013, and Kinya to a myriad of health issues in Feb 2014. We've been dog-less since.

I've been using info from here on the forum to bring me up to speed with new information (like diet!) in the Doberman world in preparation for finding a puppy (hopefully) next summer.
