He eats most vegetables and likes them (no one bothered to tell him that dogs are semi-omnivourers. But there are definitely things that make his eyes light up--turns out (he just learned about cilantro) that cilantro is now a favorite. I was handing him cilantro leaves one at a time and dropped a bare cilantro stem on the floor--he tracked it down and looked like he'd died and gone to heaven. Too funny.

After I put the pot on low to simmer for two hours and came back to see what peeps on the computer were doing he followed me into the "computer" room and passed out on his blanket. That's certainly easier than walking him in the rain.

I need to go stir it one more time and take the lid off and cook it down some. Yum--Chili Verde on rice...it's one of the things that is really good with an ice cold Mexican beer (dark) but that's out since all of the danged drugs I take say NO ALCOHOL (or marijuana). Occasionally I'm greatly tempted to have a glass of wine with roast chicken or something like that--but I'm a coward so I don't.

StrykersPerson True story here.

Mister has a brand new set of tires on his truck.

He inquired about why I haven't done anything around here.

Told him I wanted to be a stay at home girlfriend.

This is what he had to say.

Here's a simple map of US Fault Lines, sans San Andreas faultlines in CA?

The Balcones fault is one just north of SATX though central TX that separates flatlands from hill country (where our Edwards aquifier water supply is located)

Balcones Fault Austin-San Antonio TX

Cressrb Seeing the picture of TN's snake reminded me of the Rattler we killed while at the Wyoming ranch reunion a couple years ago. I told my grandson I wanted the skin to make a hatband for myself. I worked so hard on that skin. Scraped it, stretched it and pinned it on a flat board to dry slowly. Then found the right oil for it. The complete process took me several months. The next step was to find the right backing to form and glue for my hat. Meanwhile, I had carefully rolled it and put it in a jar to keep moist and kept it up away from the dogs. All the Dobermans were over here. Company had come in and I put the dogs in my bedroom until things settled down. Didn't notice until later that night, the empty jar where my carefully preserved snake skin 'had' been. Gone, undoubtedly in one big gulp. Still kinda mad about it.

Cressrb Can't say I 'like' this, but thanks. Looks like our cabin could just disappear off the map. My sister wants me to move to Idaho, but looks like they could disappear, too. We're sunk.
