dax0402 | So very, very sorry. My heart is breaking for Ali and you and your family. They are just never with us long enough! A lifetime would not be long enough! |

Thanks Mel and MC for posting up these special pictures |

Mel, that photo makes me tear up. I have a couple of sort of similar photos of Simon. I'm so grateful we did a photo shoot out on the trail with him after we found out he had bone cancer. I really treasure these photos. This one particular always makes me smile. |

Cressrb | Goodness, and now here I am sitting at my desk in tears, reading and reminiscing. I agree, Bug, I would wish that photo for my own. |

dobebug | Mel, it's not often I wish I had a picture like one that someone else has--but the first time saw it I wished that I had one just like it for all of my long gone dogs... Thanks for posting it again. dobebug |

ECIN | Me too Bonnie , was the first post I read on here this morning and then river started flowing again , well Miss Ali had a good day yesterday , she is so up and down , one day I think this is it , then the next day , a completely different dog , Mr Business and I just got back from the vets for his annual shots and check up , Doc asked about Ali , he said Ken , she will tell you when it time , I really thought she would be gone by now , then she is outside chewing her ball and just —- sitting there enjoying life . |

ellierose | I am so sorry to read the latest update. It is such a terrible feeling to try everything and it still isn't enough. We never have them long enough. Please try and take comfort in your love for Ali and the love she has for you. My heart goes out to you in this most difficult time. |

Aw Kenny, We get these dogs knowing that we will outlive them but it sure doesn't make it any easier when it reaches the point where you know that time is getting short. We said that you would know when the time arrived--and I still believe that--I'll just wish that your Ali girl can go easily in your arms. As always, my thoughts are with you and Ali--and all my best wishes for her--and thanks for the update. dobebug |

Ken, I'm so sorry. I know you've given her the best life ever, and she's given you her best. Love her, spoil her, because that's what we do for our family. Prayers and hugs to all of you. |

She's had a good life with you, I know. One day, you'll be able to tell stories and smile about the fun you had together, the same way you can talk about someone who is not sitting next to you at the moment, but is just resting in another room in your house. That'll come, but not now. Even though we know we'll have to face this the moment we get a new pup, it still hurts when it's time for them to go. No matter how long they are with us, it's never long enough. I'm so sorry. |
