Red boy, with life jacket, in a boat.
You must not realize that I have puppy fever, like really bad.
Well, I do!
My brother's step grand puppy, Damen, got me all fired up!

When my cousin had Twister put down they gave her a hoof print.
Get ready for a good Mrs TN cry when you show her.

I had to wait a week for Axel to come back.

They are now always nice to see!
I have to drop Red Boy off for Blood work. Check for heart worms and looking for anything unusual. He has gained weight lately which has me concerned.
I am also going to have a front leg x-ray done. He has been limping off and on for about 4 weeks. I rubbed and manipulated his leg in every way possible and a few that are not possible to try and get a reaction from him...nothing! I worked him out this weekend and got him limping again and may have discovered his issue. It seems like it is one of his toes high up , he reacted to. No swelling anywhere , just a limp He has always been a solid dog and trying not to be bothered but i am!

- we did Amy's clay foot print to
But what I always do in winter, is wait for a nice fresh snow fall...of wet packing snow.
- and when let our girl out, for morning potty...her foot prints are vividly clear in detail
- walking across the front cement porch / in perfect 3D
- and I snap a reminder "foot print photo"
Will be a nice surprise for MrsTN, to cherish a Life of fun doggy times.

Judging from our weather, your heat isn't going to go away soon, Ken. We're supposed to be low 90's and bright sun at least through Monday, and only dropping to 60 or so at night, which isn't quite enough to cool us down for the following day (no air-conditioning here). |
We've had a few thunderstorms sweep through the last couple of days (which are purely hit and miss), but even those are going to go away, apparently.
....in other words, no end in sight.

Been another hot one here in East Central Indiana to day --- Dewpoint 73 + it was 94 - outflow boundary from BIG storm to the north cooled us down to 85 ! Was ---- Key word -- WAS -- going to finish up spraying beans - wanting to wrap this up before little girl gets here - But as I started to spray -alarm was beeping - drive line fault - went there everything and if all fails - shut it off and let it reboot - re-fire - still no go - and I was stuck in first gear , call Hagie guy , said shift sensor had failed -- insert bad words here - So had to drive back over the shop at 6.6 mph Hagie guy will be here around 5 to fit it . Most times - I would fire back up and get it done - but need about a hour to be rain fast , Pop ups all around us dumping big rain amounts , these FLA storms just sit there and don't move then rain themselves out . Just sat back down out here , phone rang -a good friend - he said he was hauling big round bales past the farm and a strap broke and 5 -- 1,500 lb bales are now out in my bean field - He was worried and I was laughing - I told him don't worry about it ! Just be thankful they went into the field and not into a car . He said he would pay any damages , but I'm not to worried about the damages , can't be much . So now - I guess its close enough to Miller time to call it Miller time |
TN - that was nice of them to do for your family - But its hard for me to look at .

That was fast. Got a call from our vet this morning that Coco's ashes were back already. And this was really nice of them, they paid to get us a clay paw print and a vial of Coco's hair. |

I'm awfully sorry to hear about Coco and your loss. It's particularly hard, I think, when a dog has been with you so long--17 years--that's a very long time. |
Sleep softly Coco...

So now you are really on count down for your new lil' girl--have you finally decided on a call name? And has Cindy decided on a registered name?
Have you started waking up at night wondering what you've forgotten to do, to get or to ask about?
VBG--been there, done thant--good luck.

I wish Beau could give SP - more credit, than she deserves...really I do. |
- but someone else, had the brilliant idea
- not a Chicken Coop, but rather a Chicken-Truck
Maybe she could make one, out of her Yard Art 2000 z71...since she hasn't said...

And the ones I've gotten lately have been very fresh--a day or two only.
But I can tell you that eggs will keep a whole lot longer than dated cartons in stores would indicate. When I was going on deliveries (of boats) we'd buy cartons of eggs with the best buy dates the furthest out --which were mostly around two or three weeks but even 6 weeks after we got those eggs they were still fine--but we'd run out and I'd have to go egg shopping (with my bad to non-existent Spanish--I did learn that in Mexico eggs are sold by weight not by the number of eggs. It was on par with learning that while you could find and buy honey you had to bring your own container).
And it has started to rain so I guess that means I'll postpone mowing the back lawn until it dries out. Supposed to do that starting tomorrow and continues to the end of the week I think.
That's the weather and egg report for today.

Really sorry TN for your loss. |
Love that first PIC with pups paw on the hamburger toy. Precious.
Just know that you can PM PICís to me if you want and I would make a tribute movie for you to have on hand later ...when you and Mrs. are ready.
Anyway such a sad day but I am really glad all of you got to be there including Mocha.
Great dog parents for sure.

I am still wondering things like, how did Ozzy Osborne outlast Tom Petty?
It's depressing when we lose icons.

I'm sorry TN. Please give your wife my condolences. |

Thanks, guys (and gals). Like I said, Coco was her dog so my wife is taking this pretty hard, which is understandable. 17 years is an awful long time to have a pet, and we brought him with us from South Korea when we moved back. Poor boy went through a lot, to include a surgery which changed how he peed...he had bladder stones and went through the surgery to remove them but either the doc missed one, or they came back because he ended with one lodged in his urethra and to save his life, the doc did a surgery which had Coco peeing like a girl (Sorry, don't know the name of the procedure but from my understanding, it's pretty complex and not many vets can do it). Then the constant ear infections, always in his right ear...it was always something. |
Mocha is already acting different but this early on, I think it's because she senses that my wife is upset. She's such a sweet and sensitive girl, she keeps going over to my wife and putting her face against my wife's and just standing there, not moving.
