It's all about driveways and containing your livestock, and no regulations out here. I am in the cusp of anyone that could give a damn about it.
It's not the true rednecks causing the havoc, it's the wanna be's.
I think I just identified myself as a redneck.
I really meant Country Girl.

It's all about proper teaching. No matter how old school it is.
I call it common sense in this current not so smart decade.
Not everything is at their beck and call.
It's just buying some yardage from a properly folded bolt of fabric. You cut the fabric up and then sew it back together. Poof! Quilted Top!

People that I speak of, may to be technologically able to build a gate, but not know how to close it? Would they know how to change their oil? Do they even know to make sure their oil is clean? What if they were on a lonely highway and Triple A was no where to be had?
Yes, I am throw a little temper tantrum here.
So, here comes my rant.
So, my right arm was all loaded up with my heavy coat, purse and lunch bag.
I turned around, after locking the door, and there were the goats.
Eating my grass that I maintain and pay taxes on.
They might have caused me to be late for work. But, I come out there all bowed up they split and gent. But, today I discovered they slip through the shut gate. Stupid neighbors aren't chaining it tight enough.
They were doing really good for an impressive amount of time. Now they are getting lazy again and leaving the chance for their livestock to piss me off.
I have to park by their gate to shut my gate. Before I shut my gate I tightened their chain up for them. I tighten it up really good! Lesson 101 on keeping your livestock contained.
I wasn't even all worried about leaving late for work and not in a hurry to get there was arrived 8 minutes early.
I probably should figure out how to start my own business.

My rant is over for now, but I deserve the right to resurrect it.

Mel, Here's an excerpt from the Pet Partners Handlers Guide, pg. 140, addressing those situations occurring with clients (persons being visited by therapy team) Essentially, report this to the facility staff. In all the facilities, we visit there is always a liasion we deal with for this situation.
"Information That Must Be Reported Only to the Facility
Occasionally, in the course of your visit, you might hear or see something that
could be of value to the client’s treatment. In these cases, you must report the information only to the facility, not to Pet Partners.
Information that you must report includes the following:
* Something that could compromise a client’s health, safety or well-being.
* Something that you discover about a client’s medical or emotional
* Something that a client says, or something in the client’s behavior, that you feel the staff should know about."

So cool, so cool, so coooool...I love it that you guys do this.
Question...I mean, you're there as a stress relief team, I gather. Do you hand out info about where anyone can go if they need more than what you guys do? What would happen if someone came by who was obviously way way overstressed and needed more help than you guys could supply? Do you refer them specifically? Are you instructed to call 911 or a hotline or something to report someone in major distress?
Really neat pictures. What shutter speed do you have to use to get the rotor blades almost stopped? I think it is actually great that they're still blurry and obviously in motion--if you stopped them completely, I think it would look like the helicopter is just hanging there and be very weird.

|TNfisher||Sunny and 61 today, tomorrow is my Friday off so (drum roll please) YES it's going to rain! Blah! But at least I won't be at work so there's that. Depending on the weather, I'll probably get a lot of reading done (I'm on book 2 of the Liveship Traders ) I'm really hoping it's not raining in the morning so Mocha and I can do our hike!|

Eva StMU Visit Today Update
Completed 2nd of 3 college visits today around 3PM!
All went great!
Eva- Perky, Snooping in Fog Upstairs This Morning Before Leaving for Event
This was only Eva's 2nd group visit and her first to the St. Marys Univ. campus.
Due to a handler illness, only two other teams were there.
One was a male Aussie shepherd type, "Stormy" and the chocolate min poodle, "Hershey", who was at the UTSA event with Spock on Tues.
Here is Instagram post with a few pics, although blurred of Eva and students.
One can tell the students were really enjoying the dogs!
About (150) students dropped by to visit the dogs and just loved Eva. She was loving and affectionate throughout the long 2 hours we were on campus. We'd perform some obedience tasks and tricks with treats periodically to perk her up. Eva is surprisingly better than Spock at the group events, as he gets a little too laid back and calm! Eva stays more perky and attentive to surroundings. Eva scored some McNuggets on way home as reward!
One more college visit next week for Spocko, (during finals studying).
Being petted by and smelling that many people at one event is extremely fatiguing for a therapy dog, so I leave you with.....
