How long do we have to talk about you behind your back?

Love bears, bison, elk, moose, coyotes. Not so much skunk or porcupines.

Never seen a cougar in our neck of these Montana woods. Nor a wolf, except from a long distance.

Lots of raptors... Bald eagles, Golden eagles, Ospreys. Huge Ravens.

TN would have a hay day with his camera!

Be back in about 2 weeks.

STJ!

Hope have my wifi up and running. We'll see. We are a bit deep!

And, well...car talk and rock music just isn't really my thing (I know; how did I land on the CT?) So I've been skimming along without much to say.

I need a chicken fix.

I hear ya MEL - I could never remember titles of songs much, unless I've heard it a lot.
- and with the 1000's of performers, I don't try to train myself to specific names of bands either
- while I like popular music, from the mid 1950's into the 1980's mainly
- I don't collect music and don't down load much either
- was never important enough, when I reHab'ed myself

So sometimes I also feel like a fish out of water // like when a few guys at work, use to talk non-stop on hockey / basket ball / football drafts & trades.
- and know all the names of the raw talent & everything about games played
(you know, boring stuff // but when they want to replace a family vehicle...they seek my opinion)
- so I've never really tried to fit in, on everything ...and that is fine

So do what I do, when the narrative doesn't always fit my preferences.
- change the subject // this is the "de-rail capital" thread on DT, after all

But Beau never gets tired...talking about vehicles, I've spent too many decades studying them....to gain knowledge, and make good choices.
- but unlike you Ma, I'd don't have a good ear for music / but still appreciate, the talent of others, around me
- sometimes, you just gotta wing it // we can't be good, in everything

See how I made myself look venerable, to pick up your spirits... what friends do !!

PS - we haven't heard a nice music video, of your son playing classical lately.
- go dust one off

Why? That is the Special, Factory, Plastic Honey Comb grill! It sucks spiffing it up. Gotta to poke every hole. My truck will never be clean again!

The cheap grills bug me on any new vehicle. I will let mine stay until it needs to be replaced. Then, I replace it with an easier one to clean, not a plastic one, either!

God willing, I will get another 10 years out of Guzaline.

And, I think we can do it!

That is how passionate I am about GM products.

I liked the bridge, path and camouflaged coat, "made by meadowcat".

Nice pic!

She's always camera shy but I guess I took too long in getting moving; Mocha loves her walks and wants to be on the move, not standing still, posing for pics I can totally understand that.

Oh.....yeah.......
Starting next week I am in training.......October is our yearly trip to the mountains.....Coopers Rock........looking forward to seeing colors “in a natural state”..........and hopefully some cooler temps.

That would be called Summer here. Albeit, the end. We have to start mowing again in Fall. I say "we", but he won't let me drive it yet, so he's buzzing around having all the fun. He's hogging it!

LOL

You are going to be hurting after the weed wacking! You are going to have to hold your vodka two handed to drink it!

Ugh... I hate eye $h*t. I had a rapid onset of Cataracts... In 2 years I went from having basically perfect vision to being legally blind. I was told by my eye surgeon that I could not drive. Heck I could not recognize a person from across the room!

After a bunch of pre-op hoopla... two 15 minute surgeries (a few months apart) and my vision is as good as it has ever has been. I do wear corrective glasses for reading, although I can do without them if necessary.

The best part? Medicare paid for it!

When I asked about the cause, I was told it was probably two-fold:

Genetics and the fact that I had spent so much time at high elevation in full sun with inadequate eye/UV protection (sunglasses LOL).

I get a bit of a break during the summer, but it's already starting to pick up again! Talking about sewing isn't really "advertising" but I do have to be a little careful, just so I don't break the forum rules
Also thanks Doc for the info and keeping me straight! Wouldn't want to break any rules!!!

I realized after I posted at least you did sew the dog coats. I was blind that I didn't see your signature photo, MeadowCat

Watch for cables and such like Cable TV boxes or old phone lines if still have those.

How thick are the weeds -
Watch deciduous or heavy stuff

I also have started using weed cutter grass whip. Has a serrated on both sides of an angled blade at end of a short-ish wood handle. Mechanical - swing it back and forth to cut through the weeds. But not A sling blade or kaiser blade

That's awesome! I'm always impressed by people who can sew at that level!
