Keeper is only home for a few more weeks, as he has to go get ready for competition in Italy, so we're trying to spend some time with him. |
He is such an awesome dog. We see so many traits of Citto in him.
We were over at Vicky's for a picture day with Gabby and Keeper. Here's a link to some shots if anyone is interested. Keeper and Gabby

I wired them up stand alone with switches so they can be used anytime, as well as the e-disco sway bar.
If you look just below the front fender, inline with the hood hold down, you will see a little round yellow LED that I used for side marker lights.
Thanks for the compliments

Oh, my puppy fever is spiking again!

Smart move with the upgraded axels with instant lockers and the sway bar with instant disconnect. Are the Mopar axels Dana 44's? If so, you nailed it. They are pretty much bullet proof. |
I rarely use 4 Low, but when one needs it it's there! Boulders, mud, hill decent, etc.
Your wheels and tires look to be able to easily handle the job. What did you do about the factory turn signals in the front fenders when you replaced them?
In any case... Nice Job! Bet you get a lot of looks, especially with Gabby in the copilot's seat!

WOW ! What a jeep - one of them as always been my dream machine ! Matter of fact - one just like yours ! |
BTW - A few years ago - there was one for sell in Shelbyville - I just happened to see at a place of business - damn it was good looking but older - which was OK with me - can't remember - maybe a CJ-5 or 7 - raised up some with big tires + as a added bonus a 350 Chevy with pipes down the sides - Plus a rag top ! A must for me -- I finally got up the nerve to stop and look at it - Looked as good up close and from the road - Walked in the business to se if I could talk to the guy about and price . Guy was gone , but they gave me his phone number - I waited a few days to call - I knew I would come home with it and wife would -- best guess - not think of it as I did - lol Well called the guy and he had sold it - I knew it would not be there long - Probably just as well
Don't be a stranger on here ! enjoy your posting

Our's is a '12 2 door. These pics it had the Trektop NX in safari mode.
It started out as a Sport S, and i installed Mopar crate axles with 4.10's and lockers, and the Rubi e-disconnect sway bar. We do mostly overland style wheeling, old mountain fire trails and the like. Nothing hardcore.
My first Jeep was a '47 CJ2A that I got back it the mid '70's

Hi J&L |
Your Jeep looks like a new JL 2 door with the retractable roof. Nice! Ours is the 2013 10th anniversary Rubicon 4 door (JKUR 10A). Only 34K on the odo.
I have had CJ's, a YJ, a TJU and 3 JKUs (one Sahara and 2 Rubicons). That 10A Rubicon is the best "out of the box" 4x4 that I have ever owned. It basically needed no upgrades for me to do what I wanted other than upsized more aggressive tires. (Duratrac 33's)
Once a Jeeper always a Jeeper! Kind of like being a Doberman owner... LOL

Funny story here - Around 1992 - I stopped by the engine shop to drop off a motor to get worked on - Before I left -everybody said to watch out for this BIG Doberman the owner had - You may not see him - but he will be close ! I laughed and asked - did you guys forget we have Dobermans ? He don't worry me . |
So when I arrived to the shop - I walked in and took a quick look around - No Doberman ! The owner and I was going over what I wanted done to the motor - I was getting tried of standing and there just happened to be a Real cool Jeep in the shop with the tailgate down - so I just sort of leaned on the tailgate - THEN - From out of nowhere - Came this barking - growling BIG Black and Tan Dober from behind me ! That big doggie was sleeping in the jeep and when I leaned on it must have woke him up ! The shop is about 15 miles from our place - I think it was about half way home I stopped running - lol I will never forget - turning around and looking at that boy lol Of course - the owner was down on the floor laughing - told me he was just waiting for his Dober to scare the B-Jesus out of me !
Come to find out - That jeep was the Dober's bed - the jeep always stayed in the shop and the Dober slept in it when at work - When I went to pick up the motor - Again - a quick look around - then I seen Only his ears and about half his eyes looking over the side of his jeep - lol The owner introduced us and from then on - when I would stop by - he would hop out and want a rub
When I seen your post with the jeep - sure brought back good memories !
Thanks for the pictures

She gets very "vocal" if someone comes near the Jeep, especially if she's with Mommy
She's not diggin' the hardtop, but she LOVES doorless/topless.
She'll be 2 may 22nd. Great granddaughter of Citto von der Wudritz, and grandaughter of AFINA od DEMONA(11 ON 4/9).
It's really amazing seeing the traits from Citto, and Afina in Gabby's actions. Her dad, Keeper, has completed IGP 2 and working on 3.

Awesome! Dogs love Jeeps. The fun part is to train them to getting used to rolling "naked" (No top... No Doors). |
I'd stop at the store with the boys and leave them to run in. The big guy always jumped in the drivers seat when I got out. His "brother" was content to lie in the back.
When I come back out, they are just sitting there, hanging out. The hilarious thing is that nobody ever parked within several spots of my Jeep.

OMG, the cuteness is too much to bear. |
Just wait til Denny (Strykers Person) sees these pics.
Congrats, can't wait to watch her grow.
ETA. That pic, third one from bottom should be entered in the calendar competition. That little face would win hands down.

Our new baby girl !!!
We are picking up our little brown Bell'Lavoro baby girl next weekend from Vicky. She is an awesome breeder and a wealth of information on our wonderful breed. We are also personal friends so we have been allowed to be with/bond with these beautiful pups since week one. Her pups are raised in her home with loving care from the very beginning. They are socialized with her family and her pack. Today, the pups are 6 weeks old. Yesterday Linda, Vicky and myself had them out exploring with their mom Sofia, and Afina. It was a wonderful day, as is every day with Vicky and her beautiful pack!!!
Here they are just hours old
