If you want to see more of him, you can follow the St. Paul Police Department's facebook page - they are going to be starting up a "Fuzz Friday" post series as his training progresses.

RADAR2017 Ok guys. I got to meet Sgt. Fuzz in person today, and now I have a BAD case of puppy fever. Somebody talk me down.

Apologies for the low-quality photos - he was not ready to sit still...he's only 13 weeks old

Meet Sgt. Fuzz!

So, the St. Paul PD just hired its very first therapy dog (in training). He has been patrolling the halls, and melting everyone's hearts. He has already been promoted to Sergeant, and will begin his official therapy dog training after he turns a year old.

Thought you guys might like to see him! He is a GSD mix, who was rescued along with his mom and littermates by the officer holding him in the photo.
