LadyDi So Scott ate the voodoo soup yesterday when I was away at work.
He was alive this morning !!!!! Yeah !!!!!!
He read Lannie's post about the benefits of boner soup and that she was making the same type of soup herself......so he decided to indulge in the voodoo soup and give it a go.......he liked it.

ECIN she just shook her head and gave me that "I told you so" look

I hate when I get that look ! Special when they were right

TNfisher My back is killing me from shoveling dirt and being a [email protected], carrying the bag of grass seeds and the bales of straw instead of using a wheel barrow, so I stayed home today. No pity from Mrs. TN, she just shook her head and gave me that "I told you so" look But hey, that doesn't mean I can't take a pic or two of Mocha in the snow

LadyDi Hi! Just caught up on back reading.
Winter expected tomorrow......I think my meadowcat coat will be arriving soon.
Hoss loves blankets and stuff when it is cold.
Thanks northerners for the wintery blast!
Boxers or briefs??? Are these really necessary? I say NOT.........just burn them......that's what we did with our bras!!! Feels great !!! Ahhhhhhhh......

We've actually thought about that because we get deer back there in the woods and they're hard to see sometime with that rear fence but, it was put up by the HOA, not us, so I'm not sure if we could take it down or not. I think it was some kind of agreement they struck with the people that own that property behind us, from what I hear they were really upset about a subdivision being built here.

StrykersPerson Good Morning All!

Got to get ready to go to that place.

Ugh...

StrykersPerson "Ahem... just for the record, us "redneck girls" do NOT seek plumber's butts. Eeeuuwwwww... "Wrangler butts drive us nuts.""

Right! Not Levis!

WRANGLERS!

Ooh! La! La!

Do you like creased Wranglers, Lannie? I do, but I will ogle non-creased ones!

While we are on the subject, boxers or briefs?

OMG, those hairs are the WORST! They hurt like nothing else! And I've also always been mystified how they get into that thick skin. It's a dobermystery for sure.

What variety of lavender, might I ask? I've been trying to get lavender to grow here (Zone 4) and I always lose it the first or second winter. I can keep it a full year if I bury it in hay in a chickenwire cage, but by the second winter, it always croaks. I like to use lavender in my soaps sometimes, but I don't want to use store-bought if I don't have to. So, if you know what specific type of lavender you have, please tell me? Pretty please? With sugar on top?

Wait, I just did a search for cold hardy lavender and besides the Munstead (which I have reliably killed three times in a row) there's now something called "Phenomenal" which is a hybrid and *supposedly* hardy even down to Zone 3, with winter protection. I might see if I can find some of that. From what I read, it grows taller and has longer flower spikes as well. But seriously, I live in South Dakota, so it might be some time before the nurseries here even hear about it, much less stock it. Well, I'll check.

It wasn't totally dark yet and there was a very thin haze, so that was what my eyes could distinguish. They went straight overhead--first showed up at about 35 degrees above the horizon and disappeared at about that same angle on the "other side" of the sky.

This picture is from another launch a few months ago, but this is what they looked like (this video was made into a gif so it is very short before it repeats, but they actually travelled steadily across the sky)

Kinda neat.

If it were closer to Christmas time and my kids were still little, I could have told my kids it was Santa, his sleigh and his reindeers out for a test run.
What the heck are those for? 60 all at one time? Man, sometimes I really miss the 60s.

On a completely DIFFERENT note, I just heard some clunking behind me in the living room and turned around to see the newest little baby kitten (I'm sure he barely weighs a pound yet) on the end table, playing with his reflection in the brass lamp. He thinks there's another kitten in there! I guess he got bored, he couldn't get the other kitten to come out of the lamp, so he knocked over the box of tissues and jumped off the table.

Correction - I just weighed him (I got curious) and he weighs 23 ounces, so he's almost a pound and a half! He's finally putting on some weight, yay!

Took me forever to find Mel's post - But I told my wife that the sticker is still in my finger and she said something similar to Mel's post. She reminded me that she had to dig/cut embedded glass out of her foot! Yes she is tougher than me

No no needles SP - But guess I will have to do so tonight when I get home from work. - The baking soda didn't seem to work

StrykersPerson Bout time you showed up, Beau!

I am missing a flock member.

Where is BJ?

Fine! I will hunt him down. I've got his number and E-mail address. Was hoping he would come back willingly! But, if this is how I have to do it? So be it!

Coming for you STJ!

And that's all I want to say about that.
Thks Mel - your said images, was too much for even Beau...as I just sat down, for supper.
- was at friends garage, getting taillight fuse replaced & exhaust leak figured out
- added a 1/2 a tank, of premium fuel...to mix with the old regular (with stabilizer), from sitting (siting 8 months)

Made a fresh pot of coffee, and sitting down to Mrs67 homemade vittles.
- meatloaf with a ketchup/vinegar/brown sugar glaze
- raw cauliflower with catalina dressing dip
- hot backed potato with ground pepper & natura butter
- kaiser bun buttered up, with pepper
- plus a Stewart's root beer

Timing of your post Mel, was ill conceived...
- probably getting even with PapaBear, for an earlier & mild transgression

^^ Larry owes you one back, our Ma !!
- there is no avoiding "equal or better payback"
- we know who you are & we saw what you did ...here
