Cressrb Oh Bug, I know just what you mean about the clothes. For so many years everything I owned was geared around dog shows. Pockets, colors, etc. Then one year my kids bought me a ticket to Utah Symphony. I did break out into a sweat and tore my closet apart throwing clothes everywhere. Dogs do that to you - ruin your social life, your wardrobe and certain friends and sometimes family.

BTW, I need you. My daughter is going to show Bodhi this Spring and we need help.

Well, he said he's got one of her foals in training. Sounds to me like her money making will be in breeding.

That was a damn nice ride even if they didn't win.

You crack me up!

People around here have never seen me in a dress. They ask me if I even own a dress.

I tell them yes, I have one funeral, wedding, job interview and court appearance dress.

Actually I have several classy dresses which are out dated. I just try really hard not to go to funerals, weddings, job interviews or court.

melbrod OK, picture #1, I can see a skittery little puppy lurking in there somewhere behind the big boy pose.

#2 is a "Look how big I am" pose...except his body/foot size ratio gives him away.

He is lookin' good, for sure.

Not Catholic, but in southern Louisiana "they" are all around you. I didn't have to wear uniforms in the public school, but my mom dressed me in "mom" clothes. The schools didn't allow girls to wear pants until I was in 9th grade, and my mom had something against blue jeans in class. I could wear blue jean style pants to school, but they couldn't be blue.

Anyway, once I started doing horse stuff, blue jeans were what I wore unless I was at school, and I never learned much of anything else when it came to clothes. So long as I'm comfortable and reasonably well covered, I don't care what I wear.

It cuts my clothing bill by quite a lot.

The local Ford dealer is right down the street from us, which is convenient.
With many services, they are priced the same, or even less than the other places and with them, I know a Ford certified tech is looking at my vehicle and putting genuine Ford parts on it. For example, an oil change at quicky lube or valvoline cost around $60-$70 (and they always pressure you to get the better oil, and replace this and that). At Ford, I get the works package for $49 which is an oil change (using the correct oil), plus tire rotation, a check of all fluids, and a multipoint inspection.

This can be a shady town, with the large army base here....too many people try to inflate their prices and rip off the military including retirees so over time, I've kinda figured out who's half-way honest.
Sound answer, Frank. And I must remember this when customers are complaining about where to take their vehicles for warranty work. I forgot the NY, NJ, CA and multiple other State customers have an issue with traveling because of the traffic congestion.

Thank you for answering my question.

I had to take Rustine to the south side of OKC to get some electrical work done which about killed me. Saving the money was worth it but the nerve racking drive aged me by about 2 years. Gave me knowledge though. When the first mechanic couldn't find out what was wrong and I made that dreadful trip to the second mechanic I now know about mice issues.

I like what you have done.

I was going to ask as well, how do you sell a house and attempt to buy another at the same time? I can't take that kind of stress, unless I have tons of money in the bank. Which I don't.

This house is my first house and it made me a nervous wreck just going through the house buying process while living in a rented FEMA trailer.

Yay glad you are done!!!

No we have no place as of yet. But just want to get ready in case we do find one. The one we were hoping would still be available in 2 months or so just went off the market. Not sure if someone bought (doesn't show sold) it or just took it off. Hopefully just took it off to put back on later.

We keep looking

So Moe, would it be fair to say that you folded on Origami White, disagreed on Agreeable Gray, but both connected with the Silver Strand?

SW Silver Strand Paint Color

Here is what we have so far - Lighting is off (just the poor overhead light) - it does look a bit closer to SDs photo...If you look close on the left side down the hallway - I put a swatch of Windfresh Paint to see what it looked like. Think we like it but hard to tell against the contractor flat "yellow color"

First coat - will need a second as. We missed a few spots, and it needs one anyways.

SW Windfresh White

Lol SD (So Moe, would it be fair to say that you folded on Origami White, disagreed on Agreeable Gray, but both connected with the Silver Strand? ) is a fair statement - Those are great photos of the paint color.... See the room we (wife) painted underneath SDs. I cleaned, the kitchen trim, behind the fridge, washed down the walls and kept Mila happy.

This is the computer/art/music room - just the 3rd bed room - More than likely leave it as is for paint. Mila is modelling the room.

Mila was not happy - the roller my wife was using chirped like a smoke alarm....she was quite afraid. So I had to take her out a lot. Even then as the window was open she could hear the chirp. We threw that one away and will get another for second coat.

One thing we notice - Satin of Sherwin Williams does not appear as shiny as satin of Behr. But we need to add second coat to see.

TNfisher I am done and done! Watched all 16 hours of the online class videos, studied and went over all 151 questions of the practice exam for the MeasureUp test, then took the test (which was only 46 of the 151 questions) and passed that so now I can request a voucher from work to take the official Microsoft exam once I think I'm ready. What a load that takes off me...not the way I like to spend my weekends but I can be kind of anal about things like this, almost OCD. I get to where I just want to get it out of the way so it's behind me and I can screw off LOL. Most of my coworkers haven't even started yet with anything, knowing they have until mid-May.

Alrighty then! Now it's time to hit the shower, then make a big cup of coffee, and slowly get ready for some football...can the Titans actually take down the Chiefs like they did the Patriots and the Ravens? It'll be a miracle if they pull it off, I'm not expecting it because the Chiefs showed throughout the year and especially last week what they can do once they start clicking.

Tomorrow morning, no matter what, Mocha and I are hitting the trails. I was telling Mrs. TN it 'll be too cold out and she-who-must-be-obeyed shook her head and told me to put on a hat and some gloves and take that poor girl for a walk so take her for walk I shall

Waiting on the contractor to schedule when he will be here.

In the meantime we are painting. Today we will do the guest room.

We prepped the walls last night with removing pictures, spackling nail holes, and the slight crack on the corner of the door. I didn't wipe down the walls yet but will do that here shortly.

Going to try Sherwin Williams paint this go around. Prior was Behr - I know Beau - but it seemed to turn out ok for us. Oh wait an interrupting thought here Bo knows or does Beau know!

Ok finish previous thought about Sherwin Williams - most "pro" painters use it around here. So when we painted 10 years ago - we couldn't get to the walls with the vaulted ceiling so hired someone to do so. He was not happy we had Behr( Sherwin Williams he said)....but by the end he said Behr was pretty good.

But we will trial ourselves on this one room and see. Will use the Duration base - mixed reviews but they all seem to have mixed reviews. Behr also has some mixed reviews but have more positive....Dislike reviews anymore.

Ok off to get ready to work!
I don't have that problem.

Original choices (all Sherwin Williams) Origami White for most of the house except the following. Kitchen - Agreeable Gray. Master Bedroom and Bath - Silver Strand.

Wife didn't like any really but the Silver Strand (light gray with undertones of green/blue). Origami - to bright and would feel like a mausoleum she said. The agreeable gray and most grays she associates with prison....

So now we are going to paint the guest bedroom in the silver strand and see what it looks like. If we like it then it will go in the spare bathroom and Master bed and bath.

Rest of house she thinks windfresh white - still a white but slight more color in it. LRV of 69 vs the 76 (LRV = Light Reflective Value - I believe). Kitchen not sure yet - maybe the agreeable gray below the kitchen rail and a light gray above....

all of those!

Will take a photo when done.... Ok off to Sherwin Williams.
