Start your own thread about it. Google ear cropping your area and Doberman talk you usually get a better return than using dt's search function.

You could Google "Doberman Ear cropping + your state" .... you're likely to end up back on DT.

Yeah, he still does some breeders, but is officially retired.

This thread is sooo old, too, but good for education because of where it is, I suppose.

Interesting he did my girl's ears from her breeder not that long ago. Maybe he is closed to non breeders?

Unfortunately Sam Grant retired around a year or so back...leaves a BIG hole in that area.

Do you have a picture of your dobes crop for people to see?

What some people consider s good crop is FAR FAR from it. Not saying your crop is bad cause I haven't seen it, but my first dobes crop that I thought was good, and cheap to boot, I would leave the ears natural before having done again. I wasn't experienced with crops and was not a good judge of crops at the time.

Again, not saying your crop falls into this category cause we haven't seen it to be able to judge it.

OP, there is an ear cropping forum available for more information.

With out hesitation Sam Grant in Cincinnati Ohio. He did my girl's and he is really one of the best in my opinions and worth the hour+ drive from Dayton.

ggrogers Yes in Ohio, I looked all over finally I asked my breeder who she uses found a great vet in CAMBRIDGE, OHIO did a great job at a GREAT price.

Does anyone know of a good vet in the Dayton, OH area to do ear cropping?
