MeadowCat Went to a cat show yesterday and got to meet our future breeder in person! It's a couple of years away still, but it was so nice to be able to meet her. She had one of her adult Devons there (a stunning 7 year old), and two younger kittens...both 4 months old. It was just so much fun to see the cats and to chat with her. Really confirmed that she is the right breeder for us, that we really like her cats and that it's going to be worth the wait.

Plus, of course, we got to see tons of other beautiful cats! I'm completely confused by cat show judging so I have no idea what was going on, but we enjoyed ourselves for a few hours

We also met one really lovely Turkish Van and chatted with her breeder for quite a while...that's another breed I could really enjoy, I think! Such fun to get to do that. Yes, I am a crazy cat lady

StrykersPerson Mister at some National car show in Nebraska. Nebraska has National Final car shows?

Asked him to bring me a tank top. He said, "What if they only have T-shirts?"

Told him he needs to bring me a tank top or nothing.

See what a good girlfriend I am?

I am not sure to that degree - but she probably thinks I hang out too much

I try to time it when she is reading or watching the news. I come in here and read and post....then practice piano - or try. And since I get up waaaaaaay earlier than she does, I have the morning to catch up

She does look at FB Doberman groups so she does similar....

I thought it was funny when GretchenRed posted about her 14er climb recently. We were up at that altitude too this week, but we drove up. Much easier. I hadn't been up Pikes Peak for a long time; you kinda forget that top of the world experience. It overlooks Colorado Springs; I spent my time trying to pick out landmarks. My house is almost impossible to see. It's sorta behind a little ridge from up there--the area seems hilly when you're down in it, but from the top of PP, it just blends in with the rest.

And now (well, maybe sometime this morning) I'll go tackle taxes. You'll hear my voice floating in the wind, I promise, but it's not likely to be pretty.
Hey Mel , I have been to the top of that hill to ! Many , many years ago ! Pretty cool deal .

Also many years ago , our neighbor lady had , had a heart attack and her husband was afraid to leave her when he went to his school board meetings once a month , so he asked me to stay with her till he got home , this neighbor just happened to be the musics teacher at my school , she had taught both my sisters to play the pie Annie , so guess got free pi Annie lesions On school board meeting nights ? Lol at first didnít like them but then grew to like them , matter of fact I told the wife Iím thinking about doing it again .

Both sisters still play and do it well at funerals and weddings .

Liszt is extremely hard - although for me playing Mary had a little lamb is beyond me

Some examples where he is listed.
The Most Insane Piano Pieces (Vol. 1) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEMgNMNeBr4
LISZT - La Campanella - 13:46
The Most Insane Piano Pieces (Vol. 2) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbOZXL8Vz4w
LISZT - Un Sospiro - 7:57
This channel shows great visual of what the pianist is playing

Tell your son I am jealous! It is cool that he is of the ability to even try! I hope to get there in 15 years or so if I keep it up.

Vulnerable--susceptible to physical or emotional attack or harm.

Or maybe you really did mean, "venerable"....

Venerable--accorded a great deal of respect, especially because of age, wisdom, or character.

Sometimes those spelling "errors" reveal what you truly think of yourself deep, deep inside.

He's both!

And cute, too!

He can cook, so he says!

Guess I will have to keep him.

If it doesn't work out between us, guess I will just have to drop him off at the nearest shelter.

StrykersPerson Chickens watered? Yep! Horse watered? Yep!

Back in my jammies?

Hell yeah!

Anything else that needs to be done, can be done in my jammies! When these jammies get soiled I can find clean jammies to get back in to!

It's freaking hot here!

It was fun playing in the well water!

Next year, I am demanding that Mister level out some ground for my Walmart pool!

Got to put it in the atmosphere, you know.

Seems she is telling me it is time to leave the room!
I hear ya!

This one was prompted for the video, but she learned it all by herself:
