Gretchen_Red There are no amount of words that can be expressed for me to tell you how my heart aches for you. Because most of us have been there we know the emptiness that they leave us feeling when they go. Thank you Baron for blessing Lois with your love, run free ol man.

VZ-Doberman That hole in your heart will never heal..... Believe me, I know. He was not only your best friend but one hell of a Fashionista!!! When you look back, Lois, just think how lucky you were to have had him in your life. Such memories......

Coco Loco Oh dax I feel your pain. These anniversaries are so hard especially for you this year.

Hugs to you. I know Baron and Miley are having an excellent time together watching over you.

1 Year Ago My Heart was Shattered in Two!

I cannot believe it has been a year since my special Baron left for the Bridge. My heart hurts just thinking of him. Hoping and praying he and Miley are having a good time together again!

A few photos of his last day!

This special plaque from Safroni Art says it all:

Will love you forever!

There just are no words

There just are no words. Only time can heal the pain. Remember the good, you were both lucky to have shared the time together.

Baron is Home

His memorial table:

Flowers and cards:

His paw prints. The orange one I had done a few years ago at Petco; the painted one I had done by a vendor at DPRPA's Jamboree; the white one is the last one from the vet.

LizM Lois ... deepest condolences, sending you love and tender thoughts. I deleted my FB account last year, but do receive the snippet DT emails. I usually file them marked "read later", but today I was compelled to open the message and saw the sad news. Baron - what a handsome and accomplished marvel! He thrived on your love and devotion. Thank you for sharing him with [all of us] - lucky you that he blessed and graced your life. RIP Beautiful Boy.

eegreen Lois, you know my heart is breaking for you both. Baron was the most gentle Doberman I have ever met. He had a wonderful life full of love. He will be missed

What a wonderful life he had!

I was comforted you know Baron passed quickly, in the presence of those he loved the most. Hopefully, his battle and experiences with the dreaded DCM disease will help future Dobermans conquer this scourge. If only all Dobes could live a long a life as Baron did. Thanks for you & Baron's contribution to DCM research.

We'll miss Baron immensely on the DT forum and we're hoping you might find some time to post a short pictorial tribute to him.
Here you go spocksdad. Just a very few of my favorite collars:

Coco Loco I am so sorry to hear this. I know exactly what you mean about not having anyone to follow you around the house because it's almost a month that Coco has been gone.

You were both so lucky to have found each other and shared such wonderful years together. You took such good care of your handsome fellow. Baron will definitely be missed by all.

ellierose I am so very sorry for your loss. As others have said, I have come to know Baron also. I felt connected because my first girl dobe was from Briarwood.
I also believe the superior care you gave him added many years to his life. Bless you and may time make his passing more bearable.
