StrykersPerson A GMC commercial come on and I told Mister I want a brand new Denali.

He asked me, "Fully loaded"?

Of course! I answered.

He asked me if I had 80 grand laying around.

He popped my balloon, man.

I wouldn't buy a brand new truck living on my road.

I saved 50 grand buying a used one!

I think the new ones are ugly anyway!

I hate it when they change body styles on me!

Are you just pulling out previous pics?

Thanks!

Face masks required in Guthrie. All my fabric is reserved for quilts.

Guess I am never going anywhere ever again.

I have bandannas but I just don't know where there are.

I am afraid if I put a mask on I will get thrown in the pokey!

We are semi-coffee snobs around here...sort of? We love Kona coffee, and sometimes order some from a connection we have down in Hawaii. He sends it up to us via priority mail at a price that is exceptionally reasonable for Kona.

But we also quite like a roast from Cameron's Coffee, a roaster here in MN. The "Woods and Water" blend is a light roast, and it's really good. You can buy it on their website, or you can actually find it places like Amazon, if that's your thing.

I don't mind a good French Roast, but my husband hates it, so we never have that in the house.

I am a giant cold brew drinker. Love love love cold brew. We actually bought the newer version of the Coffee Ninja just because it had a cold brew option - it's kind of a cheater cold brew, as it's not a TRUE cold brew (real cold brew is brewed slower), but darn it is very close, and brews in about 10 min. We love our Coffee Ninja, BTW. LOVE LOVE. Brews great coffee.

......

On the pizza front, I have to say, nothing will top true Chicago style for me, after living there. But there are BAD Chicago style chains. Ick. Like, never go to Giordano's, in my opinion. Just...yuck. There are amazing Chicago style pizza places. Now I want one - right now.

But a fabulous New York style pizza is amazing, too. A real one. I've been to New York enough times to really appreciate them!

But, as TN knows, the best option we have around here is...Jet's! I could go for some of that!
We, the chicken hawks, didn't give Ma permission to be off the clock!

You going to write her up?

My preference is Columbia Supremo--light roast. I hate and never buy coffee at Starbuck's because all of their coffee tastes burned to me. I will drink the latte's but they are to coffee as koolaid is to strawberry milkshakes.

I don't care who did the roasting because Columbia Supremo is a single bean coffee and Supremo is a specific roast. And it's always done as a light roast. And then to make it worse I also lace it with Hazelnut creamer.

And I like anchovies with Caesar salad--(but I'd been eating Caesar salad's for years before I found out that "real" Caesar salads were made with at least anchovies rubbed around the salad bowl or better with anchovies chopped up into the dressing)

And I'm a total snob about pizza's in general. I don't like thick crust--but don't like the stuff that has a ton of cheese in the edge of the crust--but I want pizza's the way I first got them (I'm told New York pizza's are still like this) which is heavy on the sauce (so it drips all over you when you pick up a slice) medium on the mozzerella and lots of pepperoni, sausage, black olives and light on the mushrooms.

And personally I think it's some sort of a crime to eat pizza with a knife and fork.

A friend of mine was giving a dissertation about how much he liked Mexican coffee and why--"It's so sweet..." He said. And his wife leaned over and whispered to me--"He's never watched them make it commercially--if it's in a commercial sized urn they put the grounds in the top and a giant handful of white sugar before they turn the machine on. And now when I make it at home I use a drip pot--put the grounds in the filter and a tablespoon of white sugar on that and he tells everyone I'm the only one who can duplicate that great Mexican coffee."

No, no, no!

Coffee doesn't belong in a milkshake!

Oh no!

Give me vanilla, straight up!

Plenty of highlight and warm Temps and a fair amount of neglect...that means do not over water and go light on the fertilizer.

Different genre, I suppose
Andy Warhol stuff is big $$...Beau learned that on Pawn Stars.

But just 2 nights ago MEL, Antique Road Show was on...I find it interesting, me likes.

A lady brought in 2 signed prints from 1962 or '64...her father paid, $64 shipped.
- and he must of had one heck of an eye, for art collectibles
- at the time, turning down the Campbell Soup Can print...originally cost $15, because he didn't like the subject material

But not all was lost - passing on the cheap Andy Warhol print...the Professional Appraiser valued the 2 other artist prints her father bought @ $60,000 for the pair...almost 6 decades later.

She didn't say Good Morning to me either. Apparently my reputation precedes me.
Complain / complain / complain ABTLH & MEL...just look @ yourselves !!
- all about me thinking
- you lady's don't have a Leg to stand on...now have a cup of Tea, and read on
- others have feelings to, while not necessarily so obvious

Look @ it from Beau's point of view...all my Life, I thought I was #1...even here.
- and Twice this week it was suggested otherwise
- so shattered dreams once again

- even in childbirth, Twin67 popped out 1st.
- 2 hours latter, cute-baby-Larry came in 2nd place
- the story of my Life
