Kenny? You got to buy a back up camera now. The Hawks have spoken.

Hows about one of those invisible trailer camera thingys that Chevy is bragging about?

Darn SP - I didn't think of that! But wait I went back and looked at the video again...I didn't see no mirrors

Speaking of cats (we were, weren't we?) We made home-made pasta and spicy chicken alfredo from scratch, and some meringues with the extra egg white (the pasta just has egg yolk) Trip helped.

I only caught him on the counter once going for the raw chicken that was waiting to be spiced. I don't THINK he got within licking range, but......
.
Lol

Yum home-made pasta!

Not quite right. Maybe Be here or...um...drink beer??

No reason why you can't do both.

I had a Suburu about 25 years ago--almost spelled like Suburban, no??

When I was little, we had one of those big old paneled station wagons with the 3rd seat that faces backwards. I wasn't allowed to ride in that one because I was know to get carsick even in a regular car if we were on vacation on curvy mountain roads. Parents didn't want to take a chance with me, I guess, but I was always a bit jealous of the sibs.

So unless one of my sibs bought it as a present for me I guess it is no longer an option.

It still pulls at my heartstrings.
That just means some better will come along, even though it was a family home. It will just be different.

I think I have already said this, but I will say it again, when I walked into the mud room of this place, with all it's interior windows, I was sold. Reminded me of my Grandparents house.

Then the floor plan just fell right in with everything Karma.

I am very sorry that you think you lost your house.

You never know, though. It just might pop back up on the market.

Well, since it's 5 hours later than you posted it, where is the party?

I am alternating reading forwards then backwards tonight. Add spot checking to that.

And Ma is out of pocket for a few days?

Guess Deputy Denny is on duty.

It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it.

I will make you proud, Ma!

Thank you for your support, Kenny. Some days I need all of the help I can get here.

Bad boy, Beau..condoning vulgar language---I don't need that kind of help.

Speaking of which, I'm heading down to Amarillo tomorrow to visit my brother and probably won't be online from then until Monday night. He's in Dallas visiting friends so we'll meet halfway--about 5 and a half hours for each of us. Depending on how fast we each drive.

(I tend to speed, but just a little. I'm not sure my car is actually capable of speeding big time.)

Maybe I shouldn't have given you folks extra warning but just let you guess when big...sister...is watching instead. Anyway, ya'll be good now, ya hear?

I know, hope springs eternal...

"Life on the Corn-Farm" stories are interesting too. (heck, the stories all of you guys tell are interesting--that's one reason I stay here. It's not just all riding herd on SP's exuberance. )

But the farming ones--they always make me think of my dad, who grew up in the rural VA mountains during the depression, and always kept a farming/make do with what you've got outlook on life, in spite of years as a chem engineer at Exxon and the suburban routine.
Do you drive a Suburban? Suburbanites must drive Suburbans.
