AKhiker Welcome from Alaska!

Don't hesitate to get involved with your local shelter or dobe specific rescue directly. They are fantastic resources for all things dog and the dogs all benefit from your help while you learn.

It's also a good way to meet some AWESOME and occasionally quirky but always interesting people!

Kamiko Thanks! I have no doubts that I will learn what I need to know and more - I'm very excited! I don't have many good pictures of him as a puppy (he would just never sit still lol) but here are a few:

Crystal Lake, IL says HI!!!

Hi, My name is Kamiko, and I live in Crystal Lake, IL with my mom, older brother, and little sister. We are the proud owners of a handsome mix-breed boy named Mason who we rescued from death row as a puppy. We are hoping that by this time next year we will have added a Doberman to our family.

My dad's side of the family used to breed Dobermans, so I guess the love of this breed is genetic I am here to learn all I can about owning this breed entails - the good times, the bad, the hardships, the joys, the pitfalls, and the Kodak moments - before my family experiences it for ourselves and hopefully help others do the same.
