I have joined your site to get Doberman training advice. I rescued 10-11 month Doberman male. I need to know how to get him to trust and to reduce his growling. I have had him couple months and he responds to no. But last time he growled I verbally reprimanded him with Unum. not "no'. and he growled again I had already backed off and he turned and backed off

You do NOT want your dog to stop growling. Growling is communication. It's an early warning system. What you need to figure out is why the growl is happening.
