What appeals to you about this breeder?
I personally wouldn't be interested in paying that much for a puppy that was raised in a kennel instead of in the home, and from someone that doesn't seem to do much with their dogs other than breed them. I like to see people who are active in competing with their dogs to show that their dogs are really good examples of the breed - they show them in conformation shows, they are in sports - agility, obedience, schutzhund...something where someone can evaluate what kind of temperament they have.
It seems to me that this breeder is importing dogs from Europe and then just breeding them, and that they live in kennels, not as house dogs. That's not my personal taste. It would be hard for me to know what kind of dogs they are. What are their temperaments like? What are they like to live with? What kind of pet will they make?
This is a good read on how I start looking at breeders: https://www.dobermantalk.com/breedin...e-breeder.html
I'm also concerned about the lack of health testing listed. This is a breed with a lot of health issues. I'd like to know if the dogs being bred have had a recent echocardiogram and 24 hour holter to know what their hearts look like. I want to know if they've had their livers and kidneys screened. Their eyes, their hips. I want to know if they have normal thyroids.
There is a lot that, for me, isn't what I'd be looking for.
