Doberman Teeth not all there.

One way that should be a hint to check your dogs teeth are all there, is if they slober alot while drinkig water or you see them with there Toungh sticking out of the side of there mouth. Usaly that means there missing teeth and water and there toungh cant stay in there mouth.

Ummm - the way to know if your dog is missing teeth is to actually count them. My Dobermans with full mouths of teeth (they have been counted) slobber water all over the place. haha.

We have tile floors. One day when McCoy was done "drinking", I measured his drool trail from the bowl.

15 feet from start to finish!

When The Sheriff is at the water bowl, water continually shoots out the left side of his mouth the whole time. LOL

BTW... The both have all of their teeth.

You know, having basically only had dobes, I just figured that was the way all dogs drink.

But, I have to say, Hairy Cattle Dog has a very neat mouth...I've never seen drool around his water dish (I actually have an extra dish on the CARPET upstairs!), and he's never dumped a mouthful of water in my lap either.

He saves his mouth for crunching on my hands, I guess.

ROFL! You never met Zipper! I'm bettin' she could have made Spock work hard to outdrool her. And the backwash... I had to clean the water bowl several times a day because the other dog and the cats refused to drink after her.
