are you required to fix her at such a young age? It is really best to wait until a bitch has gone through one heat cycle and then spay 2-3 months after it. It lessens her chances of spay incontinence, and is much better to let them mature for so many reasons. I understand rescues wanting to make sure that they don't reproduce.... but the trade off for spaying so young can be lots of health issues later on.

She's adorable! I vote Dobe/Lab. I thought that when I saw the first pictures (I'm just reading this whole thread now), and her latest pics look even more Labby in the muzzle, so I'm still thinking Dobe/Lab cross.

It makes not a whit of difference, though, because she's a beautiful girl, and SHE doesn't care what breeds she is. She's just a happy puppy.
