Another California member

Hello all, I'm not a Dobie owner at the moment. But I do own a German along with my beagle and the family american cocker spaniel. Dobermans have always intrigued me so I figured I'd come here to better educate myself on the breed

I'm absent a dobe at the moment too. You can see my canine in my avatar.

What can I say? It happens.

Welcome to DT from Colorado! We need pictures of your crew

Yeah, over time this is a great place to pick up information about Dobermans, Dobe puppies, good toys, good food, training etc.

So welcome from the left hand Portland (in Oregon instead of Maine)--I've had many Dobes over many years (got my first in 1959) and am probably on my last--don't think I'm up to another puppy--my 13+ year old fawn boy is enough for me at this point since I'm older than dirt we make a good pair.

Dobebug ~ Do no say that. I don't want to hear it. If you are older than dirt, what does that make me? I'm just getting started and I want another Doberman puppy. I picture myself being dragged
out of this life with a flexi lead in one hand with a Doberman attached and a couple cats on each shoulder and a Chinese Crested or two on my lap. Yikes.

Ah Cressb,

That's what I say now--but one of the Mt Hood club members who is more rickety than I am, recently couldn't stand it and adopted a 10 year old red boy whose last bit of family had passed away leaving him without a home. So maybe there is some older boy out there who will need a home. The cats? The cats will always be with me--the two that are here now will probably outlive me--they are 16 and 4--and most of my kitties live to be very old cats--19, 20, 22--cats hold up well when they are indoor only.

Melbrod edited to add.....
Well, you're very close with your flickr account, but it's not quite sharing with us here.
You need to put the pictures you want to share here on a public setting.

Then go to the page which says "Share 1 photo to" pick the BBcode and copy it over. Notice that you can also pick a size for the display. 640x480 is usually a good size for your picture.

Here's a good tutorial:

https://www.dobermantalk.com/new-mem...ng-flickr.html

I think you probably have almost gotten the first part done; take a look at Spocksdad's second post for instructions on how to set your pictures on the public setting. He also has some suggestions for how to keep pictures you don't want to share here private.

She is not. We just use that when we are in public training sometimes.
