Hello everyone!

Greetings from Europe!
I've been here as a guest for a really long while now just reading up on random dobie experience and slowly preparing for the "devil" that is with me now. As most of people that are first time dealing with ear crops i was at a loss as well, best thing i did in that department is read everything possible here and i have to say HUGE THANK YOU to everyone!!! Thanks to you we avoided all rookie mistakes and even tho his breeder is doing his posts and is with us every step of the way (for everything) i wanted to know how to do it on my own just so i am ready to do it when for example it rains etc. and here is where i got my confidence to do that terribly simple thing most are scared to do for the first few times
Little bit about the "devil" also known as Dante, we got him when he was 8 weeks old, cropping was done by the breeders vet. If i post pics right you can see that he has stitches on some, that's because i insisted to be there and go thru everything my dog is going thru. In my head it's only fair i wanted a cropped dog so i should be there for him during that time (but that's just my logic).
Anyway i think i typed quite a bit. To wrap it all up, Hello and a huge thank you from the both of us!

Welcome from Missouri.

I am originally from Europe (Germany) myself and moved to the US in 1985. Where are you from? Just wondering because I thought that crop/dock is against the law in Europe.

Thanks everyone!
We are from Serbia.
Crop/dock is technically illegal but in reality it isn't. Cropped/docked is still common and as such are still in shows normally. It's easy to find out what vet is good for it.
Only difference the law made is that it's more common for random people to shout out their unwanted opinions when they see us walking down the street and nothing more.
