Hi I am Brunswick. My owner is Gwen.

This is Brunswick. He is a dobie mix. I rescued him from Illinois Doberman Rescure 2 years ago. When I got him he was 83 pounds, had heartworms and tapeworms. His ribs where showing. He had no hair on his belly. His nipples were so long they made him look like a female dobie.
I put him on a good diet. It took a while to get rid of the worms. Once we did he started putting on the weight. Now he is 97 lbs. He has filled out nicely. His nipples have receded. His hair has grown on his belly. He looks great.

Welcome to DT to you and your boy. Looks like you've gotten him back on his feet again I actually think he's probably purebred!

Hi & welcome from England.

Thank you for rescuing. You've done a great job with him, he looks fantastic.

I'm with GK, he looks purebred to me too.

I also agree with greenkouki and Jobey. Tail dock is a bit long. Ears are a bit military. And he will always be a big "round" boy. But, he sure looks purebred to me.

All in all, a nice looking dog, regardless of his actual breeding.

Oh... Kudos to you for bringing him back to health!

Edit to say... I had a big "round"a while back. Always trying to push is weight to a buck. When he sat he could rest his head on his chest. LOL. Make sure you watch Brunswick's weight. It is a hell of a lot easier to keep it off than to take it off!

IMHO he looks a bit like a Doberman/Rottweiler mix--looking at his thicker neck, shorter head, heavy flews and the tan color coming up past his hocks in back.

But who cares? He’s looks great and you’ve done really well by him. Stay around and let’s talk.

Welcome to DT from Colorado!!

Thank you. I'm working on getting his weight down. I want him at 90. He looked awesome then. I'm also concerned about his joints if he gets too big.

Thanks. That's what a lot of folks think his breed is. No doubt the Dobie is prominent and he acts like a Dobie.
