Hi DT picking up my Dobe pup in may, he will be 8 wks old. I am going to feed raw (prey model) are there any coops or raw fee resources in NEO (akron, cleve., canton etc) that knows of a good butcher or place to buy bulk meats. Also I cant find anyone to crop ears the breeder is ~2 hours away looking to have the surgery done closer to home.

No the cropped option was not offered, the breeders opinion is to wait till the pup is at least 10 weeks old. This means I would have to bring the pup back to the breeder. Also the cropped dogs at the breeder were not aesthetically pleasing.
It may not be what you want to hear but some things you've said about them aren't adding up to them being your typical reputable breeder... Better safe than sorry ya know.
The pup is coming from (1st Lieutenant Romulus Lee Guilliams) & (Malloy's Honey). The "breeder" has kept/shown Dobes and other dogs ~20 years, new to breeding but very knowledgable. Seen sire and damn both very focused and well trained (voice and hand signals). What's you guys .02 is this a puppy mill, full of parvo and my new pet doesn't have a chance? BTW I prefer the shorter ears with no to small bell, makes the head more square in appearance.
Just regular vet visits vacs and shots no hip, eye, elbow etc. I was planning on rescuing a Dobe but this litter came up during my search. I prefer the euro lines, on avg. better working dogs, but they're super head strong.
Who do you guys recommend I check out? The few phone numbers I called for breeders are out dated and out of service, everyone warns against Titan. My dilemma is when I do find a breeder how do I know it's not another Titan?
rawcountrydogstore.com is helpful and is the only reference for a raw diet i always see with dobie owners❤
