We live in Ohio and our 9 month old doberman has one ear that has a sharp crease and folds over forward. We have posted faithfully and continue to post but nothing changes. We are asking for leads on vets (in or around Ohio) who might be able to help us to correct this ear. Any help would be appreciated.
I think there was a good Vet. near Canal Fulton, Oh I will have to do a search for it.
Implants? They do have them Neuticles.com There was someone on theses posts have gotten them.
Maybe you could try another posting method? Do you have a picture of how you are currently posting the ears and a schedule for how often you are cleaning and reposting?
We have already emailed Dr. Grant and all he said was "sorry I can't help you". So...does anyone know of anyone else? We can't be the only ones who have had this issue. This is not a posting issue, it needs correction. Our vet is unaware of how to correct this. Thanks for your replies.
It's been a month and Bella's ear are doing great since she had the stringing procedure done. I highly recommend this instead of implants. Here's my girl ready for bed with Froggy.
We came accross a vet about 30 minutes from us that examined Petie and said to repost for 2-4 months (he felt it may stand). If not, he knows how to do the "ear stitching" method to correct this. Thanks for your input and if you have more, please comment.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
