Did you ever find out what was causing the patches? My girl is going through the same thing right now so I was curious.

Also, adding greek yogurt or some type of probiotic to his meals may help his tummy as well. I know how frustrating it can be. I hope your little one firms up soon! Best of luck

My guy has always been on Acana Regionals line since he was a puppy. First it was Acana Prarie and now its Acana Grasslands. No reason for the change other than his food smelling too fishy

I do feel your pain as I had to hose down the lawn constantly from soft stool. Rex had giardia and that contributed to his soft stool. Once that cleared up his poop firmed up. He still had the odd loose stool but MUCH MUCH better than before.

I also found that adding pureed pumpkin mixed with cooked rice and a small amount of kibble helped firm things up. He loved eating that too.

I also cut down his meals so he could process it better. The combination of above fixed him up but it did take some time. I didnt change his food because I knew it worked for him before.

A few members suggest Acana, Orijen, Taste of the Wild, Fromms as good kibble brands. You may find as you change food his poop doesnt firm up right away. Might take some time to readjust.

    Hi,

My 6 month old Mocha has had big/soft stools since the day we brought her home. It's been really frustrating for us because we have gone through several different brands of food, trying to find one that will work for her but so far, no luck. She seems to have a really sensitive system; the slightest change and the stool gets even softer or runny. Is there a particular brand of the acana grasslands that you get for your pup? Thanks!
