I have found a breeder that I really like the "look" of her dogs. However the kennel is in Poland and I have no plans to travel to Poland. Padoku is the one that I am speaking about. I really like the rich, deep mahogany contrasting with the red/blk of her dogs. My biggest fear is getting to much Dog for a Novice. Don't get me wrong I have been around animals all my life, I work in a Veterinary Hospital but never owning a working breed, and knowing these dogs are bred to do what they were intented to do , make me wonder if I'm too passive for these bloodlines. I also really do like Foxfire ,and I know that you have a dog bred with one of hers. If I had a choice I would choose euro lines from the United states.

    Burns,
I believe its www.logresfarm.com They are in Carolina I believe. I also when ready for a doberman want just a pet-quality dog. I might give obedience a try,but usually too nervous. I try to show my Quarter Horse in 4-H when I was much younger and had several judges tell me to loosen up, or that I would of had 1st if I wasn't so stiff!!! I know that your a vet tech, how long have you been ? Do you get upset if an assistant does tech work? For example, blood drawls for presurgical or

Thanks, Jody! I'm glad you like Red's videos I really appreciate your kind comments!

I am not familiar with Logre Farm Dobermans. Do you have a link to their site?

I chose Red's breeder after A LOT of research and talking to different breeders. We didn't end up choosing Red, the breeder chose him for us because we wanted a pet-quality dog, and he was the only one in the litter - the rest were all show-quality. But I couldn't be happier that we have him!

    Jody,

You can join DSSN without being a show person. You can also find good dogs through the forum. If you go the www.logresfarm.com there is info about a litter on there right now.
