would love any tips/tricks for getting Stella and Olive better acquainted. I have been able to successfully redirect her when I anticipate that she is about to interact either by chasing or pouncing. Usually I can just call her name and we go into another room to do something like empty the dishwasher. I have been unsuccessful when she is already chasing. So for example I didn't realize Olive was even in the living room, I thought she was in the bedroom, and Stella is playing with a stuffed kong, Olive comes running out from under the couch and bam....Stella is chasing. At that point I am unable to verbally redirect or call her off. Luckily the cat is smart and she knows that under the couch or on the dining room chair the dog can't get her, but still obviously I cant allow Stella to chase the cat. This would have been so much easier 3 months ago when Stella was less of a threat.

Sorry you felt upset by my post didn't mean to be well for lack of a better word ignorant I am apologizing also I think you may know one of my breeders As she is from your state I was of the impression that she was a good breeder. Ever heard of Sunnyside Dobermans? She is from you state and having health problems that is what I was told any info to the contrary would be appreciated.

Hey Tricia - congrats on the 2 blue ribbons! Rally is so much fun =) I wasn't originally planning on it, but I think I might go ahead and get out RAE. Even though its not as difficult, I find Rally much more fun than Obedience because of the interaction you can have with your dog.

As for the soft crate, I have the 36" N2N crate: here's the link. I absolutely love it and would definitely buy another one. It durable and not flimsy at all. The canvas is thick and even though it hasn't really seen much abuse, there are no holes or rips, not even in the screen windows/door. It's easy to set up and take down, and pretty light to carry. I got the 36" and its a good size for shows where you don't have a lot of room to set up - I think the 42" would be a bit too cumbersome and large to deal with.

Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any other questions!
