Your last post cracked me up. Doberygirl she sounds very young, I'm curious how old her doberman is, she never answered that question.

I was looking at that woman's site and she had a litter in August and now another litter in January, so the money just keeps on coming.

I know what you told me ages ago but when I read anything about her I see red, must be that Italian blood in me.

    hey mary,

I am in london ontario, and i saw on one of your posts that you moved to the states. I am looking for a puppy and i was wondering if you have moved back to ontario. Your site is still up, so i will try sending and email to the email address on your site as well.

    Thanks :)

I was reading your post about knowing who's who at the zoo and was wondering if you know anything about protection canines in Ohio? I have been considering contacting them for a pup and need advice. thank you for any info you might have.

I think you have to forget about a specific time frame. Responsible breeders don't have puppies sitting in a warehouse ready to go when you want them. Some of them won't breed puppies in Canada when it's going to be deep winter and they aren't able to get them outside for training and playing, depending on winter conditions where they live.

The two breeders in Quebec I'd recommend are Danandre in St. Lazare, and de Baviere although I can't remember where she is exactly. Fabert would also be a huge step up from the one you were originally considering.

    Hi Mary,

Royal and Moxie are adorable together. At least, usually. Right now, Shelby is in season and for the first time, Royal has figured out something is going on and he's turned into a BOY! We're in the whine zone, and poor Moxie has to put up with his advances. I'll be glad when the next couple of days are over and we can get back to normal.

Sorry about your sink problems. But you got a red boy kiss out of it - that must make it worth it! LOL Copper is being uncharacteristically good this morning. He's currently playing with Rory, and Blush is chewing on a bone nicely by herself. I think the separation during the surgery recovery was good for them.

    Hi Mary

The pictures you posted of Royal and Moxie are so cute, Sammy's jealous he wants a girlfriend. Tuesday my Kinetico tank with the R/O water had a small hole in the bottom and I had a flood under my sink. They came over replaced the tank and I thought great no more problems. I took Sammy out for his evening walk, when we got back he was playing I opened the faucet and I heard water under the sink. I looked and I had another flood. My Grohe pull down faucet is stainless steel and it spilt down the middle, well lets just say my Italian temper took over. I had to laugh Sammy just looked at me, came over and gave me a kiss. Its a pain when you can`t use the sink.

Thank you for contacting Heather. She simply stated that the Peterborough Humane Society would likely adopt to me but does not work with rescues-the manager there confirmed her thoughts. Unfortunately I am not in a position where this is a feesable solution. (I don't know what this guy is like with cats, I have 3). Thank you so much for your help. I will not give up, just not sure how I will help him yet!

    Hi Mary,
My name is Lisa I am in Peterborough Ontario, we spoke a couple times before. But now I find myself in need of your assistance again. While I know you are no longer in Canada I was hoping you direct on who to contact to help a 1 yr M who was "placed" in the pound. Long story and will be happy to "spill" once I am conected to the right people. This boy seems wonderful. Thank you so much in advance for you help.

    Hi MaryandDobes,
I am a new owner of an 8 week old Doberman Puppy, and I was referred to you from other members on the site regarding ear cropping in Ontario. The breeder referred me to Staples in London but they have nothing available until the end of August which is too late. If there is anywhere that you could suggest it would be much appreciated,
    Thanks,
    Nia
