E- Collar

Anyone have suggestions on good e-collars ?
Had the "sport pro" before they were paired with Garmin and that one was pretty good... then I got the newer model after it was broken and it was paired with Garmin.... complete garbage.
Buttons would stick and created a disaster on a few occasions
Battery life is terrible. Doesn't last more than 1 day if you use it.
Decent range 0.5 mile I think

I use the mini-educator from E collar technologies. I'm very happy with them.

I was turned on to Dogtra from a LEO (K9). He used it for training on his GSD. It worked well on my German Pinscher.

Years ago I had Tritronics, worked well for me. Now I use the MiniEducator and am very happy with it.

I only use the e-collar technologies, Pro-educator 800 dual box, dual button. At our club you will not see anything but the Educator series. I have owned dogtra and sportdog in the past. The educator allows for much more sophisticated use of a remote collar.
