Sooooo, I cringed through his muddy and sometimes incorrect attempts at explaining how learning works. I finally had to just quit and I tried twice.

I urge anyone to look at a lot of the free video and blogs from excellent trainers like Fenzi, Garrett, Larlham, Pryor, Ailsby. Read some good books by Karen Pryor, Ken Ramirez, Fenzi, Sue Ailsby, and Kathy Sdao. There are tons of good cheap podcasts out there. Because...a consistently trained dog, trained for 5-10 minutes a day using the SIMPLE best practices of marker training, will not need collar pops to learn sit. And that goes for ALL dogs. There’s NO SUCH THING as “some dogs are operant and some aren’t”. Ahhhhh! You can train a fish! A chicken! Without collar pops or luring...

Always Playin’!
