Well the other day going threw town there was a older lady that couldn't walk very well crossing the street by the post office - So as I got closer to her -- I laid on the horn and held it down - boy did she pick up the pace ! not only did it keep her from getting hit by somebody texting It was also a good Cardio work out for her !

Doc, you are on a roll today. Stop it! I have to quit reading your posts or stop drinking coffee.

Cress what have you done?
Nothing today we know as you just woke up.
But maybe something previously you did for someone?

LadyDi, you know I have thought about this and I kinda goes against my grain to say. Seems like boasting and then it would ruin the very act, right? At least seems that way to me.
Nothing wrong with your question, but it just makes me hesitate. If I see a deed that needs to be done, I will do it and have.

I feel the same way Aunt Bonnie - No need to pat yourself on the back for something that was the right thing to do - Besides if I did that - That's all I would get done on the farm = patting myself on the back But Like Aunt Bonnie said there is nothing wrong with your question -- I guess

Well OK... I'm in... That's assuming that doing a nice thing for your partner of 45+ years counts.

I saw lithograph by Gaston Prost (1881-1967) on line this morning when I was doing a little research. It is a WWII era charcoal of a family huddled by a stone wall at night titled: NUIT D'ALERTE (OCCUPATION GUERRE 39-45 RESISTANCE)

Typical of Prost, the print has the series # (3/200), the title, a little sketch (in this case an air raid horn) and a second signature All hand inked by the artist below the actual litho.

My wife has another Prost litho (a nude) that she loves and his lithographs are quite uncommon. So... I bought it for her. I will tell her its for Father's Day! LOL

Unfortunately, it is coming from France, so I don't expect it for a month.

Well, I trimmed back the dead branches on some of my bushes (we had that early hard freeze last fall which killed branch tips), so that people who drive by don't have to look at them and cringe.

I've been sending food to friends who have been out of work without unemployment coming in.

Didn't think that was admirable. People gotta eat.

Love it!
Today I visited my neighbor across the street that recently got a puppy.
This man knows very little about dog training so I went over there and trained with Lady on down stays.
Currently the sharky pup is shredding his owner big time.
Today the owner saw his dog after 8 repetitions rush up to me ...sit.....and held her sit 2 seconds before her ear rub.
Owner was amazed.......didn’t think his dog would do it!
Lady, she is a real cute pup.
