I think most of you know I live in Minnesota. I'm right near the Twin Cities.
If you are looking for a place to help, these are all good organizations. I also work for a church, and we have a partner church right in the heart of the riot area. They have many, many members who are having trouble sourcing food and basic supplies, because most of the stores are closed, destroyed or looted, and public transit isn't running. My church is collecting monetary donations in order to buy supplies. If anyone is so inclined I'm happy to share that donation link by PM. I'm not at all involved in our finances.
These are all also good local organizations. They are helping to rebuild, or to provide food for people, for kids, for pets.
I just wanted to share.
The Sheridan Story helps provide meals to kids year 'round. We've worked with them on an ongoing basis. They are fantastic. https://www.thesheridanstory.org/get-involved/donate/
Hunger Impact Partners also works with child hunger: https://hungerimpactpartners.org/kids-fund/
Loaves and Fishes is a hunger organization: https://www.loavesandfishesmn.org/
Hunger Solutions is another hunger organization: https://www.hungersolutions.org/about/
People and Pets Together helps provide food to pets when people are in crisis, to keep pets in their homes: https://www.peopleandpetstogether.org/
This is a group helping rebuild some of the damage and destruction: https://www.welovelakestreet.com/
There are other good places out there, too.

What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
