Seems inevitable that many DT threads eventually devolve into cat threads.....

That cat is related to Trip, I see. He even looks like he has a short tail (though Trip's is short enough to be...umm...abnormal [don't tell him I said that] and it has a crook in it.) And he needs more white on his face. Perhaps he is a close relative--there seems to be a family resemblance in his behavior.

I stopped putting up trees about 20 years ago--mostly because of lack of little kids around and both dogs and cats very much around.

I thought about a tree with Clark--you can't keep Clark out of peoples purses, grocery bags or coat pockets--no chance at all of keeping him out of a Christmas tree.

And my loaner puppy is so curious he runs a close second to Clark and needing to SEE and TOUCH everything.

And for all the years I've lived in the Pacific Northwest (Portland and grew up in Seattle) I can only think of a few times we actually had snow for Christmas. Rain usually and it might get into the 40's as a regular high but it's really rare to be cold (the way Minnesota and Colorado are cold) even during the winter months.

The coldest Christmas I ever spent was the one in Vermont--and we had a heavy snowfall on Halloween and I left in mid March and the snow was just starting to melt.

I love the Christmas dog pictures--too funny.

So I gather you're saying she's upset at the delay in receiving her rightful reward?

Seems like I do remember something about string cheese under the arm. Or was that MC's trick?

Very Cleaver Mel ! But be 'n' Richter is world famous for developing the " Richter Scale " lol This is a hard question to answer , Rascal does do a good job , Its just not the same as a true Richter , so that be 'n' said - I will rate magnitude as a 6.5

String cheese is a MC modus operandi...in this case all I was trying to do was get a pic of the ninny with the santa hat on and yeah, as you can see, while I was taking that pic she loved me a bit less than she did 2 minutes prior (Me laughing so hard I was in tears probably didn't help things). But all was well once we took the hat off
