Hey Rosemary

Are you all in a safe area ?

Be safe down there !

My glances at the hurricane news seems to show it going east of the Houston/Beaumont area. Like to where my brother and sister live. :(

Flooding looks like the worrisome thing.

I have a son in Kirbyville, Tx. He said they are expecting 20 " of rain tomorrow!

Yeah, Beaumont is supposed to just get a glancing blow, at most.

I hope your family stays safe, Melbrod.

The effects of Barry look like they'll be huge--with way too much rain in the adjacent areas to the main track.

What is this likely to do to all of those fields you just planted (and the beans you just sprayed?)

This weather--not only memorable amounts of rain everywhere--more flooding, now there's a heat wave going in Alaska along with the huge wild fire--heavens forbid anything like a big wild fire starts up in Washington state or Oregon (or Northern California for that matter)--both Washington and Oregon have sent hundreds of trained firefighters up to Alaska.

Stay safe everyone...

Thinking about those hunkering down for the deluge. Scary. I always think about the dogs who live outside...
