While I think (as I said before) that weed should be legal, or at the very least, decriminalized and monitored (alcohol, cigarettes...), it should be a personal choice, and not foisted upon kids (saw that, too) and pets. That's not fair.
omg. that isnt even remotely funny. poor thing.

Kind of a case and point for legalization. Unscrupulous growers like your former self would be out of business! A regulated and controlled production standard would see a safer product for the end user, as well as the growers. Here in BC organic goes for way more $ and has a better finnal product,so it is only common sense to go that way. Reading the labels and knowing how to use products properly goes a long way as well, ignorance is hardly a valid argument.

Anyone ever have any ammonia pot? That stuff will rip your lungs out. I only had it once, was told by someone what it was and always recognized it after that and took it back. Didn't happen much, but still...pretty awful stuff.

Ive never smoked before but...the stuff that rips out your lungs you should stay away from. the more expensive the better: less smoke, longer whatever.

That was in the 70's. I don't even know if people still do that, probably do.
But yeah that is something to stay away from.
So people, if you ever smoke something that is very hard to inhale without coughing your head off and smells a little bit off, get rid of it.
The last time, someone had some and I took one hit, smelled the baggie, and told them what it was. That had to be in the 90's sometime.

Hell, who knows what was really on it. It had that ammonia smell to it, tho, very different from the formaldehyde smell if my high school frog memories are correct.

Yeah, we called it "love boat" Also known as "wet", "fry" or "black weed". And it is very bad. And I only smoked it because a neighbor came over and asked if we wanted to share a joint with him - but he didn't tell us until after we hit it.

I was so very pissed.

duhhhh, no brainer.

i'm not even gonna waste my time reading the debate because there isn't really one. people should be able to do whatever they want with whatever they find. if god (or whatever) creates plants that i find and abuse, what business is it of anyone else's?

Don't believe this is a 'no-brainer' for the following reason...

Let's say you are visiting someone who has a beautiful garden with gorgeous flowers. You decide that the foxglove is just so dang pretty, and you really want to eat it, and see what happens. So you do, and it causes your heart to stop because it is digitalis, Your family sues the people you were visiting, for having a lethal plant in their garden... rather than that family suing YOURS for the trauma of having watched a total imbecile eat a plant he knew nothing about, and die as a result.

I think grass should not be illegal, but I also think people should NOT be able to sue each other for all the insanely stupid, frivolous or arbitrary things they do.

So that is what saved me!!!

Has anyone seen that ooooooooooold maryjane propaganda movie on Turner Classics. Dang, cannot think of the name of it right now?
It showed kids, parked right downtown, smoking pot, then taking off in a roar, driving and laughing insanely. One boy killed his Mom and another, I think it was the boy smoking downtown, smoked a joint and immediately raped and strangled his date. I mean it was hilarious to see it now. I has to have been made in the '50's.
No wonder Robert Mitchum smoked his brains out.

Update, I am pretty sure it was "Reefer Madness".
Hee, hee here is a review on it Netflix Online Movie Rentals - Rent DVDs, Classic Films to DVD New Releases
Wow, it is even in wikipedia Reefer Madness - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linda, I can't believe you never got high and went to see Reefer Madness at the midnight movies! That was like a rite of passage for people when i was in my late teens-early 20's.

Yeah but on that note....It is still a choice.....Just as it is now. I could easily smoke pot now but I choose not for many reasons. Alcohol is a choice as well, we could ban alcohol and have a lot more sober people....It's a choice.
