generally speaking, the US was the largest creditor nation, until.. oh around Bretton Woods. Generally speaking, since then, we have become the largest debtor nation. It's beyond a solution as simple as living within means, balancing the budget. Congress of any party is powerless to do anything. If anything, they waited too long. And if anything, Congress as far back as 1917 set the wheels in motion and its an unstoppable runaway freight train.

I really hope to be proven wrong on either point.
Obama had no mandate to turn America into a socalist country, or to bypass Congress and run it by executative order. A lot of Obama voters are unhappy buyers.

Senator Rand Paul (Republican) offered an excellent budget bill that would have brought us to fiscal sanity, but there were too many 'big government' votes against it.

makes me think back of a past President (albeit a Democrat) that tried to change things and he ended up at the rainbow bridge. The establishment does not like change.

Darn right he didn't. No 'murican in their right minds would stand for this nation falling into the hands of SoCalists. Imagine it, the traffic, the pollution, hollywood elitists and surfer types running around everywhere.
And the worst? A Disneyland in every state.

Nightmare.

You gave so much to work with in just that one post, I decided to take it easy and just go with SoCalist. I made the executative decision to overlook your use of Rand Paul and sanity in the same sentence.

Yet, can't compete with Disneyworld. No Epcot? We are supposed to just accept that? I suppose next comes Disney Panels that decide what rides visitors are allowed to go on during their state allocated visits. I can see it now... "No Space Mountain for you Grandma. Your time in the park is done."

The real question is what are the SoCalists going to do to address the IN-N-OUT Burger inequality in today's society? What in the SoCalist platform will deal with IN-N-OUT Burger redistribution to the 45 states that currently live below the IN-N-OUT poverty line?

Disneyworld will be the mecca of the US, SoCalists will migrate to Florida in hopes ot seeing the "real deal". as a SoCalist, we'll always have a soft spot in our elitist hearts for our Disneyland. it's where we drag our screaming kids who writhe around the floor when they have to wait 30 minutes in line to go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. overpriced turkey legs, hamburgers and bowls of clam chowder, but you pay $50 a plate inside the Blue Bayou for the "experience".

when the fireworks start, and you have a date, right in front of the Sleeping Beauty castle is a prime spot for secluded make out sessions-- my tip to you.

as far as IN-N-OUT, i truly believe they will monopolize the southwest and create the most powerful (and delicious!) hamburger franchise in the US. McDonald's and Jack in the Box will have to watch their backs, those double doubles and animal-style french fries are going to eventually rule the world.

now excuse me, there is an IN-N-OUT 15 minutes from my place!

something clever goes here.

I realize you believe that you are the fountain of progressive wisdom(?), but Senator Rand Paul only proposes that the government live within the framework of the Constitution and not tax and spend productive Americans into proverty for generations to come.

sir, just because we have large breasts does not mean they're fake. 50 years from now, they'll be sagging to the floor but at least at 21 i can say they're all natural, baby.
