Any couponers?

I'm not looking to get extreme but i'd love to find some new coupon sites

I already have the following and check most major manufacturer/store sites (kelloggs/target/tyson/etc...)

Free Printable Coupons, Grocery Coupons & Online Coupons | Coupons.com

Coupons | Online Coupons

Printable coupon deals and extreme couponing tips by The Krazy Coupon Lady

Coupons | Grocery Coupons | Printable Coupons | Coupon Codes | Free Coupons

Grocery Coupons For Free | Printable Coupons For Free!

I've got a pils of about $80 going right now in coupon savings, plus one of the local stores has double coupon days, though idk that I can stand taking the crowd that comes with that....

I've been very lax in my couponing over the last year. The store where I used to do most of my shopping no longer doubles/triples coupons. One of the people on that "extreme" coupon show was in my area, and she had been skirting store policies, so Kroger just quit the doubling/tripling in our area. There is a local chain that doubles/triples, but I usually wind up buying store brands anyway, because they are still cheaper than name brands, even after coupons.

Evidently only the people that live in the East get double coupons not allowed here in Oklahoma. Even says so on the coupons ? is there away around it ? Know I'm put out with P&G paper products 25cents they should be able to do better than that.

Grocery store coupons always seem rather lackluster in true savings to me, plus most even if you can double will void it out if the combined coupon value is more than the price of the product....basically extreme couponers screwed us by getting so much stuff free and upsetting companies..

it seems more like a company by company thing...wisconsin and minnesota have three stores owned by Roundy's (rainbow, pickNsave, copps) that all have double coupon days (they double up to 5 manufacturer/store coupons under $1) and double double days on occasion where it is 10 coupons. Personally it's not worth the crowd for me...i hate crushes of people and the roundy's store in my area is .....erm....full of "colorful" and "educated" people...so yeah I just use my coupons like a regular person and shop at cub instead, cleaner and friendlier around here.

For someone like you i'd look into the sites I listed and get on manufacturer mailing lists as well as check out specific store sites (i got a lot of useful coupons for target off their site) You can find many food products and even more household goods

I coupon as much as I can, but it's definitely not as easy as it used to be. I agree with you Sam1491, the extreme couponers seem to have ruined it for the rest of us.

Like MeadowCat said, it's hard to coupon for non-packaged food products; and that's almost all I buy food-wise. I mostly coupon now for household goods. I try to combine coupons and sales, but it seems like everyone is working together and making that more difficult.

Kroger here recently "slashed prices" and stopped doubling coupons. I just googled it and it said that Marsh and Meijer have done the same thing.

ETA...I couldn't agree more PatchesMom - those 25 cent coupons are annoying; you absolutely know they could do better! I will use them though. My husband and I call things like that "snowflakes." They aren't much by themselves, but when they pile up, they do add up to something.

Every little bit helps, I was explaining why we aren't going to go to double daze to my SO (he pays rent & I buy the food) and he played the "snowflake" card.
Personally I'd rather snowflake little coupons on a normal day at any store than battle a crowd of less than stellar individuals in a dirty store with no baggers for up to an extra $5-8 savings because of doubling. My sanity is worth more than that dollar amount

My current coupon total is right around $78 in some food goods, detergents, cleaning products, body products, and other little random goods I found a coupon for

It's kind of sad. I used to could go to Kroger, and between the Plus card and coupons, save almost as much as I spent. Can't do that, now.

I'm a huge fan of couponing. I tracked my savings last year with coupons and I saved almost $3000. Pays for my dog activities

I do very well at CVS and Target in addition to the grocery store. You can print Target coupons from their website and combine them
with manufacturers coupons to get items for little to no cost.

I also add e-coupons to my grocery store card from the stores website. I pretty much use coupons for everything if they're available like restaurants, hotels,
auto parts, and department stores. There are even coupons for beer and wine!

Love the target coupons! I have 3 for them plus one manufacturer coupon about to save $8 on 6 razors total! Cvs is great coupon wise because they also let you add the "courtesy savings card" at their self checks, no need to actually sign up!

You can combine Target coupons with manufacturer coupons??? I'm so used to seeing "cannot be combined with other offers" in fine print, I guess I just stopped reading the fine print to check!

This is awesome. I'm gonna start doing a lot of shopping at Target now The best is when my boyfriend takes me shopping on the military base because everything is tax-free and the majority of items are marked down really low, and then I use coupons on top of that

Has anyone else noticed that Target doesn't tax on grocery items anymore, or is that just a California thing?

i'd think tax exemptions would be state by state, wisconsin has laws about taxing certain items (i don't know the specifics) but i'll see statements on online stores about certain states, like mine >P having to pay a tax on said product while others are exempt

Hmmm well I grew up in Wisconsin, but I don't remember ever NOT paying tax for something. But it was certainly much more bearable than California tax

About the ONLY thing I really like about Texas as that there is no tax on most groceries and OTC health care products like allergy medication. Oklahoma, where I grew up, taxes groceries at the same rate as all other goods.

I go to freeflys.com. You can get free samples there too. I think most sites have pretty much the same coupons. My biggest problem is that I don't buy most of the stuff the coupons are for anyways, so I usually only have 2 or 3 coupons I use per shopping trip. They used to have a 75cents off a gallon of milk coupon that was awesome. Then it was 25 cents and recently I haven't seen it at all anymore. Grrrr. lol

Lived in Texas longtime ago no tax on food, MIL lived in Iowa no tax on food there either
SIL lives in Neb do not think they tax food but not 100% sure on that one. Oklahoma does Tax food and anything else they can tax. The few coupons i use does put a dent in the taxes a little.

Just did my first official trip yesterday, between my 53 items, and about 6-8 coupons and having a store card I saved 13% of my total, not bad for a first trip

I stopped earlier this year having the Sunday paper delivered because all the local grocery shops stopped their double and triple coupon deals and I felt like I was losing money rather than saving. I've also found that many of the coupons I have no need for either. Our Kroger, where I shop, has ecoupons that allows you l load coupons into your loyalty card plus I still get a few coupon inserts with my ads that come on Monday.

Recently I started to really budget with groceries. I make my dinner menu for 2 weeks out and I really have seen a huge decrease in the amount I spend on food. Staples like chicken and meat when on sale I usually stock up on. I just looked at my grocery bill from yesterday and I saved 34%. I might have to look into these other sites some suggested.

(We have no tax on groceries here)

My SO and I were just having a conversation on a similar subject natalie,

more making food than buying it, i.e. spend money on something that will make more than one meal and get the bang for our buck. Bisquick or flour and shortening for example can turn into much cheaper biscuits that stretch farther than frozen. We plan to work on it
