I have my girl on Blue Buffalo Wilderness Grain Free Chicken flavor. When I got her at 12 weeks, the breeder had her on Purina Pro Plan and I switched her to the Blue Buffalo.
She is now 18 months old and she is still doing well on this food. She did have some gas when she was first put on it, but gradually decreased the longer she ate it.
After she had been on it for about 4 or 5 months, I heard about people whose dogs had gotten ill from eating this food and I got scared and took her off of it. I tried several different foods. One food was Wellness grain free. Jazzy hated the food and even though I slowly transitioned her from Blue Buffalo to Wellness, she had loose stool. I kept her on the Wellness through 2 bags worth, but her stool remained loose and she just didn't like the taste of it. She would often leave food in the bowl and just wouldn't eat it all.
I tried another brand after that, (can't remember which one) and we went through the same thing. She didn't like it and her stool was still loose.
After reading more and more, I finally decided to just switch her back to Blue Buffalo. She went back to enjoying her food and her stools were firm again.
Now, having said all of this, I'm not advocating that you stick with the Blue Buffalo. I believe that not every dog will do the same on the same foods. You may switch to say, Wellness, and find that it works for your dog and she loves it.
I would do as someone suggested and go to Dog Food Advisor and find something that you can try that will be a quality kibble and hopefully one your baby will thrive on.
