Arrow Not sure if cropping is poorly taped

So I got my puppy's ears cropped Tuesday, 7 March 2017. When I received my puppy back the next day, I noticed the taping of the ears weren't like other tapings. The Vet did use posts to keep ears up, but I'm worried that they'll stay in that stupid "V" shape. I have an appointment on Monday, 13 March 2017. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Also, I just joined this Website so still trying to figure out how to post

Edit by Melbrod:

To post it directly to the forum, instead of as a link, copy the IMG code from photobucket (looks like this) and post it:

HTML Code:
[URL=http://s346.photobucket.com/user/cesarsarabia/media/IMG_4513%202_zpswcpvgqfa.jpg.html][IMG]http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p426/cesarsarabia/IMG_4513%202_zpswcpvgqfa.jpg[/IMG][/URL]
Copy that and you should get this:

Welcome to DT.

He doesn't have tape covering any of the cut edges does he? If so, that needs to come off, as it can cause an infection.

Most of us use a photo hosting site like Flickr (my preference) or Photobucket. Upload your pictures to the photo site, then copy the codes (BBCode for Flickr and IMG for Photobucket) and paste them into your DT post.

He probably doesn’t need the elizabethan collar (hood)--generally puppies give their ears a scratch or two, and then decide scratching hurts a little, so they quit.

You could take it off during the day while you can watch him and see what you think.

I'm gonna go off of Vet's advice on this one and leave cone on. Plus, she's been trying to scratch from outside the cone anyways. I go back to Vet Monday 13 March, so hopefully it'll be fine to take it off then.

The thing I'm worried about is the tapping and posting. Is posting suppose to be done right after surgery? And why did they post it in a "V" shape. Every other picture I see has them taped straight up with a another tape across the middle on top. I don't want her ears ending up pointed like that.

Your cropping vet just uses a different way of putting the ears up after cropping. Once the ears are healed they will be posted 'straight up'.

If it were my pup, I would take the 'cone' off.

Hugz to your Cute puppy girl.
