Hi there DT members, this is Spock the Dobe talking!
(I've finally learned how to type a post)
My dad, a.k.a Spocksdad, says today is a special day for me, since I turned 10 years old!
We didn't do anything special today, just play, eat and sleep, all of which I like to do! As long as I'm with my humans, I'm happy! Dad Says I'm Still a Hunk at 10 years of Age, Whatever that Means?)
But, Mom Says I'm a "PIA"? When Guarding the House, When Barking Along With Eva!
Speaking of Eva, my Dobersister, we get along well. I have learned many things living with Eva, mainly.... ...RESPECT the Dober Diva, Eva!! ....And Even the Little Diva!
I have taught Eva and my other sister, Lanah some things, like....
...How to Takeover the Human's Beds!!
Dad Says My Muzzle Gray is Makes Me Distinguished, Not Old Looking!
When not playing, walking or protecting house, I like to relax on my sofa, hopefully with my dad sitting next to me....
One of My Favorite Things is Playing Tug With Dad!
In my senior years, with my dad being retired, I have become a Therapy Dog and visit a local school weekly to help the students learn to read and to learn to love Dobermans. The young students I read with and meet each week love to pet and hug me! This makes me feel so good and fulfilled, better than retrieving a Frisbee. I always super wag my nub each week, when it's time to leave for a school visit! As a Therapy Doberman, I LOVE Helping Young Students to Read Better Each Week
Dad says I still have the energy and enthusiasm of a young puppy, even though I am getting old. It makes my dad very sad to think about that day when I'll eventually have to leave my family. I'm not sure if that place called the "Rainbow Bridge" exists, although it sounds nice? If not, I'll be happy to have just lived for such long time as a happy Doberboy!
I love my family, pack members and all the new people I meet in my Therapy work. Hopefully, I will will leave them with a lasting bit of my love for humans, as well as good feeling about us Dobermans!
