American Rescue Dog Show

This is on tonight on the Hallmark Chanel - believe 8 p.m. Eastern time - 7 Central

We watched the 2019 show yesterday - really - a pretty good show !

BTW - The Doberman ( named Blue ) took his group in Couch Potato ! It was a very tuff group at that - mainly the Afghan Hound

But poor Blue did not get best in show

Now I'm curious. What were the names for all the groups!

Not sure how I feel about this. It's making a bit of mockery out of something that should be taken very seriously that we have to fight PETA and somehow CNN over. It also makes rescue people think that they can show in conformation and the true point to conformation judging is to judge breeding stock. I feel like they could have gone about promoting rescue in a different manner.

You have good points G-Red - My wife and I talked about your points to

Now this is just me thinking out loud here - but was there point to show that the rescues can be special in there own ways ?? For people to adopt them ? I have no idea .

Thanks for your thoughts

It sounds similar to the Puppy/Dog Bowl on Animal Planet. They use dogs from rescues to promote adoption through reputable rescues.
