Wasn't Me or The Devil Made Me Do It!

Exhibit A: The "innocent" face.

Exhibit B: Muddy paw prints on the freshly washed sheets.

Someone was busy fence fighting with the neighbors dog, which of course is in a super muddy area. My husband called him in (fence fighting is not something we put up with), but he left the door wide open. Newton decided that zoomies were in order and ran all throughout the house including on the bed which was in the process of being washed. Thankfully the comforter was still in the washer! Happy he came when he was called, but maybe next time with a little less exuberance!

"In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog."

Meldrew--it's only because he didn't have the camera handy--we all know that Mr. B is more than capable to the incredibly innocent or "De Devil made me do it" look.

Since 79 brought up the subject of Zommies -- All our Dobermans we have had - after they drop the mother load - so to speak , gets the Zommies ! Mr. B - oh boy ! Of course - the more I say Good Boy - Good Boy with a clap of my hands - you had better be out of his way ! Sometimes I wait till he's coming threw the back door - then its a trip threw the house a hundred mph ! lol

So my question - Does anybody's Dober does this too ?

Oh yeah!!! Hoss is always quite pleased with himself after a good dump...........but before the zoomies........he has to do that skidding stuff......kicking up the ground with his back legs. There must be a technical term for this action........anyone ?????
Anyway.....in our dog compounds we use cypress mulch............there can be some big chucks of wood in that mulch......we have learned to stay out of Hoss's line of fire after his dumps........we know he will do that kicking up the grass action ......AND THEN of course followed up with the zoomies.................
We have been hit with flying chucks of wood before.........not to mention the dirt!!!! Boys will be boys!!!!

After interviewing our client- ( Newt ) Ali - acting as my entrepreneur ! Ali relayed to me that 79 had been hitting the sauce earlier in the day while she was doing the laundry - Newt said that she had been outside for a few minutes - then came back in the house and went straight to the bedroom - When she got up - she blamed Newt for doing it AND I have proof ! In the picture I'm posting - look at the very large area of mud - Now my friends - those are WAY to big of prints for Doberman

In closing - Members of the jury -- If the Paw don't fit --- You have to acquit !

Hitting the sauce!? I think someone has been drinking the kool-aid!

To be fair, I was not home and my husband was in charge so I guess we'll have to drop all charges for now!
