As I mentioned in another thread, Mocha and I had a date to do a nice 4-mile hike in the park this morning and what a morning it was! Perfect spring day...upper 50's, blue skies, no wind, and the redbud trees are in full bloom :)
Join us, why don't you, on our morning walk...

Here's Mr. squirrel enjoying the gorgeous weather

The turtles were loving the morning sunshine

Green, everywhere you look :)

Did I mention the redbud trees are blooming?

On every walk, you have to stop (numerous times) to smell the flowers

I love this pic of Mocha...the sunlight was hitting her just perfectly so I grabbed the camera, hoping she wouldn't move

Alright, now it's time for some yard work :)

Thanks everyone :)

For those of you still getting winter weather, I really feel for you but...when your spring finally arrives, I'll be b*tching about the heat, humidity, and my electric bill :)

Is it an age thing, or were spring and fall actual seasons (not 2-week occurrences) when we were young? Already in the 80s here!

"When it's Springtime in the Rockies, it's Forty below....." We can go from 70 deg and blooming trees and tulips and daffodils and feeling pretty good about life, to 40 deg the very next day
and shoveling snow. Frustrating as you never know if you can leave jacket behind or wear one anyway out in sunshine and heat, cause it may change in an instant.
Just keep sharing your beautiful pictures and we will eventually get there!

81 here right now, and quite muggy...so much for spring, it feels like summer is right around the corner already. Hopefully it'll cool back down to the normal 60s for a while. Ha, right!

I just cut our lawn for the second time this year but...the first year we got back to the states (2011), that winter was so mild and warm, people were out cutting grass in January and February...I thought man, winters in TN are great! Then next year it was freezing and we got a bunch of snow and guess who didn't have a snow shovel LOL...I was out there shoveling the driveway with a garden shovel and let me tell ya, it wasn't fun at all.

Thanks for the some what good looking pictures <--smart@ss :grin2::grin2::grin2:
