So was it really that chilly, or are you just showing off your artwork? LOL

They look good as a matched set.

It was really chilly! Under 50 degrees this morning and both dogs were shivering! Richter went to the dog closet and just stared....

Ummm....maybe not, lol. I have a closet that has all their coats, the training bag, all the leather leads, the leather collars, food toys, nosework kit, and their food bins. It's a very happy place. But Richter knows the coats are in there, and when he's cold, he goes and stares at it until you get a coat out for him

(to confess all sins, I have an entirely separate cabinet in the entry for non-leather collars. Because...yeah.)

Ah, since you have allocated space for this stuff I now know who I'm willing all my years of collected Doberman (and a few left over from the Afghan hound and the Aussie) equipment. I'll start typing up histories for some of the collars and leashes because some have served on three generations of my dogs and at least two came from well loved and long gone dogs.

Some of the things practically make me cry--I've got particularly hideous zebra striped nylon snap collar that was a trophy from a puppy class for a long ago puppy. He also wore it for AKC agility and later when he retired from all but couch potato a more recent Dobe wore it when he ran agility. And Toad wore it when he briefly tried coursing.

MeadowCat--we breathed a sigh of relief around here when the night temperatures finally dropped to the low 60 and more recently they've been in the low 50 and the last couple of night into the high 40's--Toad is thrilled the cool morning temperatures make him all bouncy in the morning--he doesn't know or care that he's going to be 13 in a couple of months.

LOL, that's what I figured, and with you making their coats, I bet they have quite the snazzy and stylish collection!

Speaking of coats, I need to see if the last few you made for Mocha still fit her; she's filled out some more since then and has also put on some muscle from all the hiking.

And I finally got to the library this morning and got to go through the pictures--gorgeous! It was 48 degrees here this morning and Toad wanted to do laps around the back yard--says he doesn't need a coat--just ice packs for when it's hot.

@MeadowCat , I too have a dog closet, as soon as I open it they get super excited because it usually means we’re going somewhere! I also have a toy cabinet that holds all the almost dead toys or toys that they can only have with supervision....I keep meaning to clean it out but as soon as I open it they are trying to get in it and take something fun! Lol

I love your coats, they’re so beautiful. I always meant to order one for Athena but would forget to do it soon enough and by the time cold weather hit you we’re usually backed up...she’s gone now and Sully hates coats (they make him itchy), maybe baby Rizzo will be a coat girl!

I must say I'm a little disappointed, I was expecting to see them wearing stripes, little wings, and antennae like proper bees.
