Just because Coco is so cute!!

My hubby bought a camera on boxing day and was trying it out today before he went to work. He sent me these pics of the old lovey and I thought I would share them with you guys. Coco will be 8 in April and going grey around her mouth and chin but she is still so cute! Well I'm biased so to me she is!

I love this girl more everyday.

Coco is blessed in a good home, and enjoys the spoils of her pampered life.
- the gray hairs are beautify marks
- comes with the treasured territory, of senior life

PS - they get wiser, with older age.
- when former Amy had gray hair, she started to read my mind
- was neat to witness / they get so intuitive, as they age gracefully
Thks for sharing your girl.

I'm in trouble then because I think she's always been smarter than me!

What I find amazing about these dogs is that they are so smart and intuitive and they just want to make their people happy.

Cocos life goal is to make her mama happy which she has been doing since she was 8 weeks old and I never wanted a dog. I'm so glad that my hubby went against my wishes and she came into my life.

I always enjoy your stories about Amy, your much loved grand old girl.

^^ That reminds me of the saying from the old church lady, on SNL / "well ain't that delicious"...
Hubby's know best / some Coco things, are just meant to be !!

-------------

Amy was just like Coco, got her at 9 weeks old and after a few days, I said to the wife:
- she enjoys pleasing us / not an independent bone, in her body
- her comprehension of our spoken sentences, was simply amazing
- she always kept learning, so quick

Years ago, I spoke to o0 sHaDoWoLf 0o, at great length, on how is it possible, for Amy to know what I was about to do, 5 minutes into the future.
- my example was, she keeps barking in my face / minutes before I drove my truck, to the corner store
- not just a once freak-off moment / but weekly or almost daily, with un-human accuracy
- how did she always know (in senior years), a truck ride was coming? / a favorite for her, riding shotgun with Dad

^^ o0 sHaDoWoLf 0o shared her observation & wisdom:
Contemplated that Amy was reading my "picture mind - that popped into my front brain lobe".
- 5 minutes before a task, Dad probably thought
- I will wear my black coat, go to closet by front door
- my GM truck keys, are in my right coat pocket
- need to lock the side door
- head to red 4x4, hold truck door for Amy to jump in
So a series of photos, crossed my memory bank / Amy learned to read these specific pics., while filtering out others.
- I always laughed at her
- Dad would say, I graduated from 4 years of College & 4 yrs. of night school University
- then I would looked down at those dober love eyes, staring back at me
- and I'd say / "Darn girl, your smarter than your old man"...LOL

Now that Coco girl has gray muzzle hairs, your probably in for a new treat unfolding.

I to have been dealing with this issue of a doberman Seer. I am a skeptic in that i believe i am giving some kinda of tell like a breathing pattern change or body language that i am unaware of doing. Somehow he is picking up on my intent.

The red pickup truck example, I can believe resides in reading my brain photo.
- once I started to realize, Amy always knew when the truck ride was coming
- I tried to remain calm & collected, didn't move off computer or do anything out of the ordinary
- or even look at the door

We have family 2 hours away, and next city is half hour away.
- our dobes learn to sleep in the back seat, when we travel
- doesn't matter how long the drive is
- 5 minutes from home / our dogs always stand up, few miles from home
Do they smell home, or a unique scent in the area, close to home ?
- or is it their internal GPS & ability to comprehend a specific magnetic field ??
How do they read a location, when they are sleeping / to me, equally unique...and still different.

Or if I drive to garage, for vehicle repairs / gone 1 hour or 3...I don't even know myself.
- how do these Doberman's, look out the front house window, for Dad
- 5 minutes before I turn into the driveway
Harmonic sound of each motor, might be a signal ???

Its fun to try an understand our dogs, their smarts & communication style.
Just when we think we learned something, another situation is a bigger puzzle !!

Aw thanks Jo! I love her too! Even when she misbehaves like once a year (a rare thing because she really is a very good girl) I cannot stay vexed at her because she gets so upset that I am not happy about something she did!

Coco loves Trooper too. He is such a handsome devil.

Happy new years to you guys!
