Some of you may remember that my Himmy, Niko suffered quite seriously with seizures, I posted quite often as therapy on DT. Very shortly after he was diagnosed, I was contacted by Tuxedojack as her beautiful boy Jackson started having seizures as well.

It was an important time for both of us as we found support and comfort from each other during what was an incredibly difficult and confusing situation. During this time we developed, what I consider, a close friendship. We have visited each other several times, even our husbands enjoy each other!

Our most recent visit in April, I wanted to surprise her with a couple of gifts to thank her for her kindness. I want to share these gifts with you as they are Dobe related and I am sure you will all appreciate them!

This is a sculpture I had made to commemorate Bella's Westminster Debut, made by a very kind and talented girl!

Now here is what I think shows how similar we are. I bought the glasses on the right, the amber colored ones, for Meilinda, she bought the ones on the left FOR ME!!! We opened our gifts and couldn't believe it!

The wine glasses are a hoot! Good taste :)

I have a Canine Couture statue of Simon. It really brings a smile to my face, even though it's still hard with missing him. She does fantastic work.

Awww Cathy, I just saw this post, I dont get on much anymore...your sweet post made me cry (of happiness) that is! It was another wonderful visit had by all, I only wish they could happen more often! DT, thank you for being around as if it werent for DT, I would have never found my truly special friend Cathy - our bond unfortunately, started over our very sick sweet boys and it has truly grown in a very treasured friendship that I look forward to having for the rest of my life. I really love you Cathy, thank you for always being there and being such a wonderful, supportive friend in the good times and in the bad....

Oh and while they were visiting, we celebrated Barbie's 1st birthday, below is a pic :)
