My 6 month old has these spots/bumps that started on his feet and now have migrated up his leg, into his groin area and mouth (chin) area. Any help as to what this is and treatment would be appreciated
Those are a vet visit. Frankly, I don’t really know what those are or what is causing them--I think you should go to a vet to get his advice for treatment.
Given that this pup is 6 months, this looks me like a very bad case of staph to me And, I looks as though it has been going on for quite a while. Its the raised bumps on the left paw that look like classic staph.
The others look like neglected infections that have been left untreated.
Regardless, this dog needs to see a vet soon. Things like this should not be allowed to linger. They just become harder to treat.
I suppose the fact that the bumps have spread to his mouth could mean that he has an infection which spread to his mouth because he was licking at the sores. But there isn’t much you can do on your own--he needs a vet visit to properly diagnose these and recommend a treatment for your pup.
Maybe this website could give you some ideas or things to question your vet about--though with a cursory glance I didn’t see anything that seemed to describe what your pictures looked like.
Please update. Any info that you have garnered will be helpful to anybody experiences a similar situation.
I hope things have improved with your boy
