Buddy's skin issue

Thought we were going to have a summer with out his skin issue but it showed up last week loosing hair on one side in a circle not red or anything like ring worm. Just no hair also loosing hair on his back legs having Rag weed here in Oklahoma so thinking it might be that the last 4-5 years he has gotten it in July? Now end of September so hope we have a freeze soon before he looses too much more hair. Dogs can drive you crazy sometimes wish they could talk sometimes.

All the rain we've had in Tulsa probably kept the pollen allergens down and held off his reaction. Too bad about poor Buddy. Those sensitive skin/allergy problems are rough.

Buddy's skin issue

Poor Buddy. Have you tried an antihistamine like Claritin? My friend's dog is on it for a grass allergy. Ragweed should be done soon.

I thought the Ivermec worked for you but he really needs his thyroid checked. Since your breeder works a vet, she should be helping you test this dog. I strongly believe it is allergy and thyroid. Once tested, the medicines are cheap.

Avoid decongestants. http://www.dogingtonpost.com/dog-dan...ning-our-pets/
